TOUR: Family enjoys events CONTINUED FROM PAGE A3 "As soon as they get out of the cars, those noses get pinched," Debbie Klausmeyer joked. "We tell them, that's the smell of the farm. That's the smell of money." She said most visitors are young — preschool through third-grade. But even adults can learn a lot — or relive childhood memories — by seeing a dairy farm in action. The family's goal was to host enough tours to cover their added insurance costs. So far they have. Now they're planning a pumpkin patch for the fall and reading agritourism sites for more ideas. MARKET: Pies will be for sale CONTINUED FROM PAGE A3 Later in the season, Sue Stephens said, there will be pies baked with home-grown fruits. The most frequently asked question Saturday probably was, "When will there be tomatoes?" The general consensus was sometime around mid-July. But another popular vegetable will make its appearance sooner. "Next Saturday," Gerard Stephens said, "we'll have cucumbers."
