He died Sunday in Hancock County Memorial Hospital. Born Philadelphia, Mr. Breece lived at.

New Palestine most of his life before' moving to Greenfield a year ago. He -worked for the former Kingan Meat 4 Packing Co. 30 years, retiring in 1964. He was a member of the church and New Palestine Masonic Lodge. Friends may call after 2 p.m.

today in Hendryx New Palestine Mortuary. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hazel Breece; two sons, Ronald Breece of Washington and Harold Breece of Indianapolis, and two daughters. Mrs. Olive Martz of Indianapolis and Mrs.

Patty Ramsey of Greenfield. Leon G. Miller Services for Leon G. Miller, 58, 2125 Broadway, will be held at 1 p.m. Thurs- day in Stuart Mortuary, with burial hi New Crown Cemetery.

He died Sunday in Methodist Hospital. Born at Demopolis, he lived in Indianapolis 25 years. Mr. Miller was a truck driver for East- side Demolition Co. 20 years, retiring in 1977.

He was a member of Northside New Era Baptist Church and the Masonic Milburn K. White Services for Milburn Kenneth White, 57, Indianapolis, a retired packer at the Naval Avionics Center, will be held at 10 a m. Thursday in Ziemer Funeral Home North, Evansville, with burial in Locust Hill Cemetery there. He died Sunday in St. Francis Hospital Center.

Mr. White was born in Indianapolis and lived here most of his life. He was a lead glazer at Capitol Glass Co. 25 years before working at Naval Avionics. He worked there about three years, retiring about six years ago.

Mr. White was a member of Southport Masonic Lodge 270, Scottish Rite, Murat Shrine and its Police and Caravan clubs, and American Legion Post 355. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Friends may call after 9 a.m. today in Singleton and Herr Madison Avenue Mortuary.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dorothy White; two daughters, Mrs. Sharon McKim of Indianapolis and Mrs. Melba J. Smith of Greenwood; a son, Terry A.

-White of Indianapolis, and his mother, Mrs. InaBelle White, also of Indianapolis. Ronnie Bonner Services for Army Spec. 4 Ronnie Bonner, 22, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, will be held at 11 a m. Wednesday in New Hope Baptist Church here, with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery.

He died Friday at August L. Miller Services for August L. Miller, 88, 4253 English Avenue, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Shirley Brothers Irving Hill Chapel, with burial in Asbury Cemetery at Morristown. He died Sunday in Methodist Hospital.

Born at Celina, Ohio, Mr. Miller lived here four years. He was a member of Wide World Church of God and the Jolly Neighbors Club of Christian Park Community Center. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Madonna Ves-po and Mrs.

Agnes Davisson, both of Indianapolis, Mrs. Margaret Schuhler of Fort Wayne, Mrs. Wilhelmina Hooper of Peru and Mrs. Rosemary Kifowit of South Bend; and six sons, Sylvester Miller of Indianapolis, August and Clarence Miller, both of Phillips, Steven and Arnold Miller, both of Denver, and Henry Miller of Roann, Wis. Frank C.

Wchrel Services for Frank C. Wehrel, 75, Indianapolis, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Flanner and Buchanan Broad Ripple Mortuary and at 11 a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, of which he was a member.

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. He died Sunday in St. Vincent Hospital. A lifelong resident of Indianapolis, Mr. Wehrel was employed 10 years as a salesman at Monarch Beverage retiring in 1969.

He was a World War II Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Geneva B. Wehrel; a sister, Mrs. Nellie Branson; and two brothers, Charles and Leonard Wehrel, all of Indi T.J.

Murphy Dies; Lumber Firm Officer Timothy J. Murphy, 29, Westfield, vice president of Castleton Lumber died Monday in Wishard Memorial Hospital of injuries suffered in an automobile accident Saturday. Mr Murphy was a graduate of Lawrence Central High School and was an Army sergeant during the Vietnam War. He was employed at the lumber company 10 years. He was a member of St.

Pius Catholic Church, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery. Survivors include a son, Timothy J. Murphy II of Indianapolis; his parents, Mr. and Mrs.

James E. Murphy of Indianapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Susan Molnar of Greenfield and Miss Mary I. Murphy of Indianapolis, and three brothers, Thomas Kevin M. and Daniel P.

Milburn Owens Services for Milburn John Jackson Owens, 82, 1224 North Holmes Avenue, a retired cotton farmer, will be held at noon Sunday in New Friendship Baptist Church at Walnut Grove, of which he was a member, with burial in the church cemetery.

He died Sunday in West 10th Street Veterans Administration Medical Center. A native of Walnut Grove, he lived here two years. He was a World War I Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Walderine Owens of Walnut Grove; two sons, Wilmon Owens of Indianapolis and Kelly Ward of Milwaukee, and two stepsons, Arthur Johnson and W.J.

Waldon, 55, Indianapolis, a disabled military veteran, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in H. Herrmann South East Street Funeral Home, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. A lifelong Indianapolis resident, Mr. Waldon died Saturday in his home.

He served in the Army during World War II and in the Coast Guard during the Korean conflict. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Waldon; two sons, Donald Tipton of Indianapolis and Hugh Tipton of Mooresville; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Geneva Chapman, Mrs. Arvina Decker and Mrs.

Sue Van Zandt, all of Indianapolis; and his mother, Mrs Ella Myers of Brandon, Fla Brian W. Shields Services for Brian W. Shields, 22, 145 West Oleta Drive, who died Saturday in a traffic accident, will be held at 9:30 a.m. today in Daniel F. O'Riley Funeral Home and at 10 a.m.

in St. Barnabas Catholic Church, of which he was a member. Indiana Genera Assembly from 1935 to 1939 In 1944. he was a candidate for attorney general of Indiana Judge Wickens was a past president of the Greensburg Chamber of Commerce and a former chairman of the Decatur County Chapter of the Red Cross. In 1935.

he served as Grand Knight of Greensburg Council 1042 of the Knights of Columbus. HE WAS THE first secretary of the Decatur County United Fund and a member of the board of directors at the time of its organization in 1957. He was a well-known layman of St. Mary's Catholic Church here and a member of the Elks Lodge and Sigma Delta Kappa legal fraternity. He also was a member of the Decatur County, Indiana and American bar associations and the American College of Trial Lawyers.

For about 10 years he served as president of Decatur County National Bank, retiring from the board of directors in 1973. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

SURVIVING, besides his sons, are his wife, Mrs. Bernice Wilke Wickens; and four daughters, Mrs. John (Janice) Land Jr. of Indianapolis, Mrs. Robert (Roberta) Mcpinnis of Barstow, Mrs.

John (Adele) Corya of Greensburg, and Miss Sally Lynn Wickens of Kansas City, Mo. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday in Gilhland-Howe Funeral Home here. Perry G. Maschino Services for Perry G.

Maschino, 76, Leesburg, formerly of Indianapolis and retired assistant operations manager for Aero Mayflower Transit will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Conkle Speedway Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens. He died Saturday in his Leesburg home. Mr.

Maschino, a native of Seymour and an Indianapolis resident most of his life, worked at the moving company almost 25 years, retiring in 1967. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gladys Faye Johnson Maschino. Mrs.

Mamie Jenkins Services for Mrs. Mamie G. Jenkins, 3601 East 34th Street, the widow of John E. Jenkins, will be held at 1 m. Thursday in Summers Northeast Funeral Chapel, with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery.

A native of Chester, who lived here seven years, Mrs. Jenkins died Sunday in a local nursing home. She was a member of First African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church of Paterson, N.J. Survivors include a son, Dr. John E.

Jenkins Jr. of Indianapolis; and two daughters. Mrs. Georgia L. Sampson of Indianapolis and Mrs.

Mamie H. Ross of Willingboro, N.J. Lodge. He was a World War II Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife, Mrs.

Claressa Miller; three daughters, Mrs. -Leonar Carver, Mrs. Rosa Jardine and Miss Claressa Miller, and five -Harold, Bcnnie, Ronnie, Thomas and Donald Miller, all of Indianapolis. Mrs. lladden Services for Mrs.

William E. (Marion M. Mastney) Hadden, 60, an Indianapolis resident 40 years, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in Conkle Speedway Funeral Home, with burial in Lincoln Memory Gardens. She died Sunday in St.

Vincent Hospital. Mrs. Hadden, a native of New-prt, was past president of Methodist Hospital Guild and a former pink lady at the hospital. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Sur- vivors include her husband and four-daughters, Mrs.

Leona Sehell Mrs. Leona Isabelle Schell, 78, Indian-' apolis, the widow of Herbert C. Schell, died Monday in Community Hospital. Born at Lebanon, she lived here 70 years. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m.

Wednesday in Moore and Kirk Northeast Chapel, with entombment in Floral Park Mausoleum. Survivors include two sis- ters, Mrs. Julia Arbuckle of Lawrence and Mrs. Martha Horton of Indianapolis. Paul R.

Davis Noblesville, Ind. Services for Paul R. Davis, 71, Noblesville, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Coaltrin Randall Roberts Funeral Home here, with burial in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. He died Sunday in Tipton Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Davis had been an employee of Firestone Industrial Rubber Products retiring in 1972. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lavon Davis Mrs. Andrew Freije Plainfield.

Ind. Services for Andrew (Helen M. Asbelli Freije, R.R. 3, Clayton, formerly of Indianapolis, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hall- Baker Funeral Home here, with burial In Clayton Cemetery.

She died Sunday in Hendricks County Hospital at Danville. She and her husband owned Freije Farm Store. Survivors include her husband. anapolis. Edwin M.

Wolford Services for Edwin M. Wolford, 72, Indianapolis, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Moore and Kirk Irvington Chapel, with burial in Washington Park East Cemetery. He died Sunday at home. A native of Jamestown, he lived in Indianapolis 55 years.

He was employed 19 years as a timekeeper at Mayflower Transit retiring in 1973. He was a member of East 38th Street Christian Church and its Heritage Club, Veritas Masonic Lodge 608 and its Old Timers Club, Scottish Rite, Murat Shrine, Brightwood Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star and the Teamsters union. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Josephine Wolford. Clyde Clay Clyde (Pappy) Clay, 68, Indianapolis, former owner of Ben Davis Auto Parts, died Monday in St.

Francis Hospital Center. A native of Ohio, he lived in Indianapolis most of his life. He owned the company 35 years, retiring in 1972. He was a member of Bridgeport Masonic Lodge 162, Westside Forty Businesses Association and Committee for the 100th Year Centennial Anniversary Ben Davis. Services will be held at 1 p.m.

Wednesday in Conkle Lyndhurst Funeral Home, with burial in Floral Park Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Juanita Clay; and two sons, Robert Clay of Indianapolis and Tom Clay of Jasonville. Mrs. Lenora Brooks Services for Mrs.

Lenora Brooks, 82, 3414 North Gladstone Avenue, the widow of Ed Brooks, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Union Grove Baptist Church at Lexington, of which she was a member, with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery there. She died Sunday in Methodist Hospital. Mrs. Brooks was born in Pickens, and lived here about seven months.

Summers Northeast Funeral Chapel is handling local arrangements. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Odine Brooks of Indianapolis; and seven sons, John, Roger, Amos, Jimmy and A.B. Montgomery of Indianapolis, Hal Montgomery of Cleveland, Ohio, and Hardy Montgomery of Chicago. Greensburg, Ind.

Hubert Wick-ens, 70, Greensburg, onetime Indiana Appellate Court judge and a former state senator, died Monday in Decatur County Memorial Hospital. Judge Wickens in recent years had been associated with his sons, Don H. Wickens and W. Michael Wilke, in a law firm here. He was appointed to fill a vacancy in the appellate court by former Gov.

Roger D. Pranigm in 1965 and served until Dec. 31, 1966. Judge Wickens was a graduate of Greensburg High School and the Indiana Law School in Indianapolis. He was admitted to practice before the S.

Supreme Court in 1942. HE WAS ACTIVE in the Democratic Party in Decatur County, having been elected county chairman in 1935 after serving two terms as county prosecutor He was elected joint state senator for Decatur, Bartholomew, Franklin and Union counties in 1934 and served in the Thomas G. Head Services for Thomas G. Head, 65, a retired supervisor at Indiana Bell Telephone will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Conkle Speedway Funeral Home, with burial in Lincoln Memory Gardens.

A native of Lizton and an Indianapolis resident most of his life, Mr. Head died Sunday in St. Vincent Hospital. He worked for Indiana Bell 40 years, retiring last year. He was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America, American Legion Post 134, Pike Township Fire Department, Hosbrook Lodge and Traders Point Christian Church.

He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Thelma Head; two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Mat-tox of Indianapolis and Mrs. Mary Ann Weaks of Fort Lauderdale, to sons, Charles Head of Indianapolis and Ray Allen Head of Jamestown, and five stepdaughters, Mrs.

Betty Hill, Mrs. Sally Hogue, Mrs. Charleen McNelley, and the Misses Mary Jane and Nancy Nester, all of Indianapolis. Helena V. French Helena V.

French, 91, Indianapolis, died Sunday in Winona Memorial Hospital. A native of Hillsboro, she lived in Indiana since 1928. She once taught art and music in Hope schools and later was a substitute teacher in Indianapolis Public Schools. She was a member of North United Methodist Church. Flanner and Buchanan Broad Ripple Mortuary is in charge of arrangements for cremation.

Carohne White of Indianapolis Han kin Jones Services for Rankin Jones, 75, 6140 Windsor Drive, retired owner of Rankin's Furniture, will be held at 3 m. Wednesday in Flanner and Buchanan Shade-land Mortuary, with burial in Washington Park East Cemetery. Mr. Jones, a native of Richmond who lived here most of his life, died Sunday in his home. He was in the home furnishing business 50 years and ran the furniture store 15 years until his retirement about nine years ago.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Jones, and a son, Scott Jones of Indianapolis. Edsar L. Henthorn Waynetown, Ind. Edgar L.

Henthorn, 91, Waynetown, died Monday in a Crawfordsville nursing home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Thomas Funeral Home here, with burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. He worked 30 years as a letter carrier for the postal service, retiring in 1952. Survivors include his wife, Mrs.

Born in Indianapolis, he lived here most of his life and was a member of New Light Baptist Church. He was serving his second tour of duty in the Army. Survivors include his wife, Tomasa, and a son, Michael Walker, both of Randolph Air Force Base, Texas; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Karl R. (Edna Schreiner, 65, Pittsboro, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Shirley Brothers Irving Hill Chapel, with burial in Washington Park East Cemetery. She died Sunday in Methodist Hospital. Born in Scott County, she lived in Indianapolis 60 years.

Brown of Greenfield and Debra L. Johnson of Pittsboro. Renard K. Britt Services for Renard Keaton Britt, 46, 3020 East Bradbury Avenue, the victim of a robbery and shooting, will be held at 10 a m. Wednesday in Farley West Morris Street Chapel, with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Mr. Britt, a self-employed wholesale car dealer the last seven years, was shot and killed by a masked bandit as he and his girl friend were leaving her Southeastside apartment Saturday night, according to police. Born at Scottsville, Mr. Britt lived here about seven years. Survivors include a daughter, Miss Lori Britt, and a son, Roger Britt, both of Albuquerque, N.M.

Mrs. Taylor Services for Mrs. Henrietta Hart Taylor, 37, 715 North Holmes Avenue, a maid at the Hyatt-Regency Indianapolis for six months, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Summers Capitol Avenue Chapel, with burial in Floral Park Cemetery. A lifelong Indianapolis resident, Mrs.
