Jail Term For Nixon Doubted Cleveland, Ohio (UPI) Convicted conspirator John Dean, former special counsel to Richard M. Nixon, believes the former President probably would not have been jailed even if convicted in the Watergate scandal. "I can't imagine that if Nixon had been convicted after a fair trial that any President would actually be put in prison in this country," Dean said during a speech at Cleveland State University yesterday. Following the speech, Dean was informed that his mother-in-law is seriously ill. He flew immediately to Los Angeles, bypassing a scheduled appearance last night at Illinois State University.

Miss Filler's limousine was not in sight at her two-story "Sand Drift" cottage, but security guards and aides to the millionairess barred would-be visitors and the heiress was presumed to be at a Breakers' Hotel "cottage," the size of an ample home. The switchboard at the hotel was ordered not to relay any telephone calls to Miss Fitler.
