She later was signed to a movie contract with Fox Studios in New York. Her movie career ended when the major movie studios moved to the West Coast and her family decided to stay in New York. Lundy and her family moved to Valley Station in 1959 when her father was relocated because of job. Her survivors include two sons, Richard P. and George R.

Lundy; a brother, George Reichert of New York state; a sister, Isabelle R. Russell of New York state; and two grandchildren. Catherine Alma Reichert Lundy, a former silent-screen child star, died. Thursday at Humana Hospital-Suburban after an illness. She was 79.

Lundy, whose stage name was Kittens-Reichert, appeared in more than 15 silent movies from 1915 to 1927... She starred in "So's Your Old with W. Fields, "Les with William Farnum and "Th! Scarlet Letter." Lundy got her start in the movie business at age 2, when she was chosen to be a stand-in while watching a movie being filmed In her native Tremendous Values! Tremendous Savings!
