Mass Funeral For Fire Dead By Aitocialcd Praia MONTREAL, June 18.—Sister Annette Desilets, accountant of the Grey Nuns Order today listed the number of dead in Friday's fire at the Ste. Cunegonde Orphanage and Old People's Home as 39. She based her total on the number of bodies recovered and reports of persons missing and believed dead. Her task was made possible by discovery of the institution's records, listing the home's inhabitants. It had been thought destroyed in the blaze. Joint Coroner A. B. Clement placed the toll at 37. ' His figure was based on the number of bodies received at the morgue and on reports from the Grey Nuns who ran the institution. Thirty-six bodies have been identified. Plans are underway for a mass civic funeral service for the vic- titns in Notre Dame Church tomorrow. TIME TO BUY LIQUOR IS NOW from the only Liquor Store in Mt. Vernon.
