Basing his selection on the fact that he was privileged to see in action practically every team of any strength in the entire South while acting in the capacity as a scout for Centre College this fall, A.

B. Chandler, who otherwise is an attorney and coach of the Versailles High School' eleven, has picked what he believes to be a representative all-Southern eleven. The Centre College Colonels are the strongest eleven In the South, beyond a shadow of the doubt, according to Chandler, with Alabama second and Georgia a good third. Chandler said: "As you will note, I have picked the two best centers on the first, placing Probst at a guard because I think Kubale certainly is the best center in the South. I regard Hubert as the best field general in the South and I have thus sent Covington to halfback and placed Hubert at quarter. "These would both hold their own in a scuffle.
