He was a member of Brunna Valley Baptist Church, where he served as deacon and was a former superintendent of the church. He Was a member of Goodwill Masonic Lodge 59 and retired from Anniston Foundry. Helms grandchildren. Pallbearers will be military honor guard. Mr.

Dickerson was a member of Peace Missionary Baptist Church. He retired from the Navy after 22 years of service, serving with the Anti-Submarine Squadron 30. He was a recruiter in career counseling in the Navy and after retirement was a employed by the Georgia Department of Labor for 13 years as a veteran employment specialist He was also employed by DeKalb College in Protective Services. He atterided Westside High School, Talladega College and received his degree from DeKalb College. He was a member of Elks Lodge 1171 and AmVets Post 25.

Edmondson MILLERVILLE Services for Annette Edmondson, 56, of Millerville will be announced by Clay County Funeral Home of Ashland. Mrs. Edmondson died Thursday at her home. Mrs. Macoy was a supervisor at Higgins Slack Co.

for 36 years arid was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church. Mitchell EASTABOGA Services for John B. Mitchell, 76, of 7653 U.S. 78 West, Eastaboga, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Kelly Springs Baptist Church, Talladega, with Rev.

L.L. Jacobs officiating. Burial will be in Sunlight Cemetery, Eastaboga, with Ervin Funeral Chapel of Anniston in charge. The body will be at the church an hour before services. Mr.

Mitchell died Dec. 28 at his home. Survivors include seven daughters, Juanita Carr, Lessie Mitchell, Elizabeth DeGourville and Peggy Mitchell, all of Los Angeles, Lillie Koney of North Smithville, R.I., Cora Udell of Jacksonville, and Clara Elston of Eastaboga; four sons, John B. Mitchell Jr. of Atlanta, Henry Mitchell of Opelika, and Eddie Mitchell and Corbin M.

Mitchell, both of Anniston; 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be nephews. An Opelika native, Mr. Mitchell had lived in Eastaboga for a number of years. He was a member of Kelly Springs Baptist Church and was a former member of Nazareth Baptist Church in Opelika.

He was retired from Valve. Charles Mitchell and Bud Jordan. A Clay County native, Mr. Jordan was retired from Russell where he was, a security supervisor. He was an Army Veteran of World War II and a member of Masonic Lodge 356 of Ashland and Mellow Valley Baptist Church.

LeCIaire ROANOKE, Va. Service! for Frederick Raymond LeCIaire, 45, of Roanoke will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary, Anniston. Burial will be in Coldwater Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Mr. LeCIaire died Monday in Roanoke. Survivors include his wife, Vicky Ellison LeCIaire of Roanoke; a daughter, Susan Elaine LeCIaire of Roanoke; a son, Gary Ellison LeCIaire of Roanoke; two sisters, Sharon LeCIaire Re of Omaha, Susan LeCIaire Woodruff of St. Augustine, four brothers, Larry LeCIaire of LaCrosse, Jim LeCIaire of Nashville, and Todd LeCIaire and Tom LeCIaire, both of St Augustine. Born in Rhinelander, Mr.

LeCIaire, worked for 10 years as an area supervisor at Golden Corral Family Steakhouses in the Roanoke, area. He owned a Golden Corral franchise in Oak Hill, W.Va., in May 1990. Acrey CEDAR BLUFF Services for Austin Lee Acrey of Cedar Bluff were today at Weiss Lake Memorial Gardens with Rev. John Steel and Jack Hill officiating and Jordan Funeral Home of Centre in charge. Mr.

Acrey died Tuesday at Jacksonville Hospital. Survivors include his parents, Barbara and Sammy Acrey of Cedar Bluff; two sisters, Betty Gaddison and Barbara Acrey, both of Cedar. Bluff; two brothers. Brent Hutchins and Archie Acrey, both of Cedar Bluff; and his grandmother, Barbara F. Vaughn of Morganfield.

Ky. Baber BOZEMAN, Mont. Services for Robert Travis Baber. 72, of Bozeman died Wednesday at Bozerran Deaconess Hospital. Sui vivors include two daughters, Barbara Macomber and Lydia Wyndance of Portland, two sons, Michael Baber of Manhattan, and Larry Baber of Alabama; two sisters, Margaret Mooney of Heflin and Loretta Phillips of Anniston; a stepsister, Jettie Isbell of Anniston; and seven grandchildren.

Mr. Baber had lived in Anniston, Black Eagle, Great Falls. and Bozeman. He was a resident of Mountain View Care Center for the past 16 months. He served in the Army and Air Force during World War II in the South Pacific and was employed as a boiler maker and a member of the boiler makers' union.

Rogers Services for Ivory Mae Smith "Momma Ivy" Rogers, of 906 Pipe St, Anniston, will be Saturday at 1 1 a.m. at West Anniston Baptist Church with Revs. Finley Holbrook; and Stanley Duke officiating. Burial will be in Anniston Memorial Gardens with Gray Bnjwn-Service Mortuary in charge.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6. to 8 tonight. Mrs. Rogers died Thursday at her home. Survivors include three daughters, Polly Autrey, Kathleen Stewart and Earlene Amerson, all of Anniston; two sons, E.

Morgan Rogers of Lincoln and J.B. Rogers' of Anniston; 17. James Autrey, Cookie Cosper Elaine Smith. Joe Autrey, Mike Rogers. Kay Ray, Rita Ginger Simmons, Jerry Rogers; Terry Rogers, Sylvia Johnson, Paul Rogers, Nancy Dunaway, Debbie Wicker, Larry Amerson, Stanley and Steve Rogers; 36 great-grandchil-i dren and 14 great-great-grandchiH dren; She was the widow of J.

Cliff Rogers. Pallbearers Will be John; Patterson, Wayne Thrasher, Kenny Carter, Don McCray, Don Chastain and Tommy Mitchell. A Louisville, native, Mrs. Rogers had lived in Anniston for some time. She was a member of-West Anniston Baptist Church.

Watts ALEXANDRIA Services for Margaret B. Watts, 94, of 181 Love Lane, Alexandria, will be announced by Gray Brown-Service Mortuary of Anniston. Mrs. Watts died today at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital. Evans WELLINGTON Services for Jamei Noah Helms, 72, of 160 Meeks Road, Wellington, were Thursday at Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev.

Phillip Howell officiating and Chapel Hill Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Helms died Tuesday at Jacksonville Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Helen Muncher Helms of Wellington; two daughters, Sarah S. Harper of Alexandria, and Donna S.

Wilkinson of Glencoe; one son, James R. "Ricky" Helms of Kansas; one sister, Louise Sharpton of Wellington; 12 grandchildren and 15 greatgrandchildren. A Calhoun County native, Mr. Helms had lived in Wellington for some time. He was an Army World War II veteran and a Baptist.

Jordan ALEXANDER CITY Services for Willie G. Jordan, 73, of Alexander City were today at Clay County Funeral Home, Ashland, with Rev. Randy Anderson officiating. Burial was in Mellow Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr.

Jordan died Wednesday at University Hospital in Birmingham. Survivors include five daughters, Carolyn Powell and Kristi Jordan, both of Alexander City, Melba Chancey of Ozark, Anna Berry of Heflin and Sue Kimes of Auburn; a son, Toby Jordan of Daviston; two sisters, LouNell Walker of Cragford and Laura Barrett of Alexander Macoy PELL CITY Services for Thomas Edward Evans, 46. of Pell City will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Cropwell. with Rev.

W. L. Martin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Sims Funeral Service in charge. Mr.

Evans died Tuesday at his home. Survivors include his mother, Johnnie Mae Evans of Pell City; four sisters, Beulah Wilkerson, Teresa Sanders and Patricia Carter, all of Pell City, and Iola Moten of Talladega; four brothers, JD. Evans, Preston Evans, both of Pell City, and W.D. Evans and James Evans, both of Talladega. Pallbearers will be nephews and family friends.

Burial will be in Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery with Dryden Funeral Home in charge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. The body will be at the church an hour before services. Mr. Newell died Thursday at Sandpiper Nursing Home in Charleston, S.C.

Survivors include a son, John H. Newell Jr. of Awendaw, S.C; a sister, Lois Jacobs of Baltimore; and LINEVILLE Services for Alma Ballard Macoy, 82, of Lineville will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville with Revs. James Duke and Frank Rasbury officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 tonight Mrs. Macoy died Thursday at her home. Survivors include two sisters, Lucille Carroll of Enterprise and Jackie Watts of Lineville. Pallbearers will be Buddy Macoy, Jerry Ward, Fred Reddish, Don Carroll, Milton Watts and Ray Latham.

A lifelong Clay County resident. City; a brother, E.O. Jordan of Cragford; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Skipper Fables, Gabe Shelnutt, Lamar Powell. Trai Chancey.

Dan Neese, Adam Neese, Cater Services for Albert Sidney Cater, 77. of Old Coldwater Road, Anniston, will be Saturday at II a.m. at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. Burial will be in Edgemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 tonight.

Mr. Cater died Thursday at Regional Medical Center. Cheeks PIEDMONT Services for Gary Alan Cheeks, 24, of Piedmont will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Borden Springs Church of Christ with Aubrey Prestidge officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home in charge.

The family will receive' friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 tonight. The body will be at the church an hour before services. Mr. Cheeks died Tuesday in Cleburne County. Survivors include his mother, Janice Cheeks of Lithia Springs, a sister, Stephanie Reaves of Anniston; two brothers, Jeffery Cheeks of Piedmont and Rodney McCown of Cedartown, and a Calhoun County's most widely circulated real estate magazine.

Rev. O.J. Hodnett officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 8 tonight.

Mrs. Gantt died Wednesday at Randolph County Hospital. Survivors include a daughter, LaDell Ramsey of Gray, two sons, Leon Wallace Gantt of Roanoke and Walter Carey Gantt Jr. of Columbus, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be David Taft, Craig Gantt, Chris Gantt, Mark Tanner, Scott Ramsey and Allen Hyatt.
