INDY STAR 1ST 2015 A9 77, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on February 28, 2015. He was born on August 1, 1937 to William Anita F. Peine in Atlanta, GA. After graduating from Broadripple High School in 1955, Tom earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue He was a member of Alpha Kappa Lambda In 1959 he married his high school sweetheart and beloved bride of 56 years, Susan Waldo Tom was a Professional Engineer and was co-owner of Peine Engineering Company until his retirement. Tom was very involved in Boy Scouts and served as a Scout Master for the Mayer Chapel neighborhood Troop 111, and later for troop He was a District Commissioner, and was awarded the Silver Beaver Award, highest honor for volunteers for his outstanding He was the Chairman of the Board for LifeNets charity, and an elder in the United Church of God.

He is best known for his service to others and his love for his family. Tom is survived by his wife, Sue; his brothers, Richard and John; his children, Cathy (Malcolm) McClure, Mike (Sheila), Anita (Dave) Kranich, Bill (Gina), nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Viewing will be on Wednesday, March 4th from 4 8 p.m. and Thursday from 12 1 p.m., and the funeral will be held at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park North, on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a burial at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Donald, known as by many, was born May 20, 1937, in Adolphus, Kentucky, to the late Leo and Zelma (Meador) Riggs. He married Berneice Gibbs on October 7, 1955, and she survives.

Other survivors include sons, Mike and Mark of Martinsville, Jeff of Camby, daughter Donna of Martinsville; three grandchildren, Dustin of Fishers, David of Camby, Amber of Martinsville. Siblings, Dale, Ralph, Bob, Eldora Key and Judy Ennis, all preceded him in death. Red worked for Circle as a metal lather, retiring in 1977. Following retirement, he built homes to sell or rent. He was an avid fan of NASCAR, his favorite driver being Jeff Gordon.

He also loved to coon hunt and won many trophies throughout the years. In 2004, health problems prevented him from coon hunting with his many friends and the dogs he loved. To all that knew he was a man of his word and a hard worker until the end. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Friends and family will gather on Friday, March 6, 2015, 4 to 8 p.m., in the chapel at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service Crematory.

Linda followed her passion for writing and worked at The Saturday Evening Post, where she developed many friendships and was very happy. Linda moved to Florida in 1983. While living in Florida, she worked at South Trust Bank where she retired as a Vice President before returning to Indiana.

Linda had many friends that she held dear from her work experiences and travels in life. She was an avid New York Times crossword puzzle enthusiast and adored her three cats who kept her company for many years during her illness. Survivors include her sister, Mary Frances Wright (Danny); sister- in-law, Alice Stillabower; nephews, Thomas Riley (Karen), Sean Riley(Malinda), KJ Stillabower (Moira Shannahan); niece, Amanda Stillabower; step-nephews, Heath Wright, Garth Wright (Kellea); step-niece, Tammy Storey (Jeff); aunt, Hazel Thompson; many great nephews and nieces, cousins and cherished friends. Special thanks to cousin Jayne Ward for her many hours of care and companionship during the last years of illness.
