home, police said. Man offers reward for stolen firearms E.C. Tolbert of Anniston, Rt. 4, has posted a $200 reward for information concerning a burglary of his home Oct. 22 and for return of two shotguns and a pistol taken in that burglary.

Stolen In the burglary were a 12-gauge Browning automatic shotgun, a 12-gauge Savage shotgun and a 9-mrn Browning automatic pistol. Anyone having any information on the burglary or the weapons should call Anniston police detectives at 236-3489 or 236-3480. All calls will be held in confidence, police said today. Police in search for Sears bandit Anniston police are seeking an armed bandit who stole about $400 from the automotive department at Sears Roebuck and Co. at, gunpoint Monday night.

The robber was described by police as a black male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 135 pounds and about 20 years old. Police reports said he had; a scarred lace. He was wearing an "old cracked leather jacket, a dark toboggan and had a full mustache," according to police reports. The. bandit walked into the automotive department at about 7:30 p.m.

Monday and walked up to the cash register with a red reflector in his hand. When the cashier told him how much it cost, the bandit pulled out a small caliber pistol and demanded money be put in a paper sack, police said. The cashier emptied the register, giving the thief about $400, according to police reports. The thief ordered the cashier into a stock room and fled south on foot, according to police. Area police charge two with DW1 Two persons were arrested by Anniston and Oxford police Monday on charges of driving while intoxicated.

Anniston police arrested Gertrude Stockdale, 47, of 1430 Mulberry Anniston. Mrs. Stockdale's court date is Wednesday. Oxford police arrested Randy LeePopham, 18, of 913 W. 49th Anniston.

Popham was also charged with running a stop sign.
