Smith died Sunday at Mount View Hospital in Gadsden. Survivors include four sons, Clarence Kelly of West Virginia, John T. Kelly of Mansville, Ohio, Ernest Kelly of Talladega and Earl Nix of Hobson City; four daughters, Mrs. Ada Hunter, Mrs. Lucille Wallace, Mrs.

The Star regrets this error. William S. Stoney Jr. of Nashville, and 11 grandchildren. A native of Sewanee, Mrs.

Stoney lived in Anniston from 1942 to 1955, when her husband, known to his friends as "Father Bill," was Grace Episcopal's rector. She was active in church and civic affairs and was remembered by one friend, Mrs. W.B. Moore, as a "Sweet, dynamic person." The Stoneys moved to Saluda in 1964, when Mrs. Stoney's husband retired.

Funeral services are to be announced for Mrs. Martha Washington Hunt Stoney of Saluda, N.C, formerly of Anniston and the wife of the late William S. Stoney, former rector of Grace Episcopal Church. Mrs. Stoney, 81, died Saturday at her residence.

McFarland Funeral Chapel in Tryon is handling the funeral arrangements. She had been a resident1 of Marietta for nine years, a member of Roswell Street Baptist Church in Marietta and a graduate of Shade Valley High School in Birmingham. She attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and Auburn University, and was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. Anthony ATLANTA Services for Early 0. Anthony, 68, of Atlanta will be today at 3 p.m. at the Church of God in Mapleton, with the Rev.

Kelland Jeffords and the Rev. Winford Etheridge officiating. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery near Piedmont with Lowndes Funeral Home of Atlanta in charge. Mr. Anthony died Thursday in Atlanta.

Ola A. Potts of Piedmont; two brothers, Olie W. Anthony of Piedmont and Ben Anthony of Albertville; and nine grandchildren. Mr. Anthony was a native of Calhoun County and a retired cotton mill worker.

He was a security guard at Bolton Hospital in Atlanta and had been a resident of Atlanta for 25 years. The body will remain at the funeral home until one hour pridr to services. of Weaver; a daughter, Miss Cora R. Bittle of Weaver; two sons, John A. Bittle Jr. of Anniston and Lee Roy Bittle of Escondido, three sisters, Mrs. Violet Reynolds of Anniston, Mrs.

Nora Brownell of Munford and Mrs. Frances Payne of Alexandria; four brothers, Joe Kilgore and Nick Kilgore, both of Anniston; Norman Kilgore of Houston, Texas, and Elbert Kilgore of Chattanooga, 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Mark Bittle, Bobby Fain, Bobby Spendlove, DeWitt Mahaffey, Johnny Day and Clifford Gray. Mrs. Bittle was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County and a former member of the Weaver Garden Gub.

She was a member of Weaver Church of God. The body will remain at the funeral home through services. 'Buntin ALABASTER Graveside services for William B. Buntin, 75, of Alabaster will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the family cemetery in Centre with the Rev.

Ronald Reagan officiating and Perry Funeral Home of Centre in charge. Mr. Buntin died Saturday at Shelby County Memorial Hospital. Survivors include two brothers, Schuyler Buntin of Tucson, and Jim Buntin of Lehigh Acres, four sisters, Mrs. Myrtle White of Bessemer, Analda Carlton, Mrs.

Helen Bruner and Mrs. Elizabeth Fountain, all of Tucson; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Buntin was a native of Alabama and a Presbyterian. He was a retired school teacher.

The body will remain at the funeral home until time of services. Calhoun ALPINE Services for Clifford Calhoun, 68, of Alpine, Rt. 2, will be today at 2 p.m. at Mount Carmel Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Garrett officiating.

A high requiem mass will be today in Tacoma. Landers Services for Dodson L. "Dock" Landers, 68, of 905 Vaughn Anniston, will be today at 4:30 p.m. at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with the Rev. Ray Till officiating.

Burial will be in Edgemont Cemetery. Mr. Landers died Friday at Regional" Medical Center after a long illness. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dodson L.

Landers of Anniston; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph D. Hendricks of Columbia, S.C.; a half sister, Mrs. Herbert Smith of South Haven, two brothers, J.Ei "Bud" Landers of Oxford and Frank Landers of Atlanta, and three grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Norman Collins, Curtis Haynes, M.M.

Character, Milford Hill, Neal Kilgore and Joe Evans. Honorary pallbearers will active and retired members of the Anniston Fire Department. Mr. Landers was a native of Mississippi and a retired captain of the Anniston Fire Department He was a member of Northside Baptist Church and owner and operator of D.L. Landers Fire Equipment Co.

The body will remain at the funeral home through services. Landt Services for Mrs. Nell Landt, 91, Anniston will be today at 3:30 p.m. at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Dr. Don Berry and Dr.

B. Locke Davis officiating. Burial will be in Edgemont Cemetery. Mrs. Landt died Friday at Anniston Nursing Home after a long illness.

Survivors include a son, Paul F. Landt of Anniston; a sister, Mrs. Mary B. Mattison of Anniston; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be w.HrTaylorrAlvin Gibbs, Doyle Hurst, William L.

Harrell, Duncan Hunter, E.H. Holmes, Franklin S. Johnson and Bob Cofield. Mrs. Landt was a native of Lexington, and had spent most of her childhood in Muscle Shoals' She had been a resident of Calhoun County since 1917 and a member of Parker Memorial Baptist Church.

She was a member of the Philathia Sunday School class, the Triple Club and a charter member of the Anniston chapter of Secretaries International. She was a retired civil service employee. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Parker Memorial Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. today until time of services at the funeral home.

The body will remain there through services. Myers HEFLIN Services for Grady Myers, 69, of Heflin will be today at 2 p.m. at Ai Baptist Church with the Rev. Fred Newborn and the Rev. Hugh Pesnell officiating.

Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Estes Funeral Home in charge. Myers died Friday at his residence. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bessie Myers of Heflin; a son, Charles Myers of Heflin; three sisters, Mrs. Leola Portwood, Mrs.

Gertrude Norton and Mrs. Emmie Hifley, all of Heflin. Pallbearers will be Ruben Myers, Herbert Wysner, Jimmy Davis, J.H. Howell, David Norton and Willie Lee Gaines. Mr.

Myers was a lifelong resident of Heflin and a retired employee of Heflin Manufacturing Co. The body will remain at the funeral home until one hour prior to services. Pettis TALLADEGA Services for James H. Pettis, 57, of Talladega were Saturday at Central Baptist Church with the Rev. Harvey Davis and the Rev.

Paul Sanderson officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery with Usrey Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Pettis died Friday at his residence. Survivors include his wife, Mrs.

Jewell M. Pettis of Talladega; a stepson, Eddie Holmes of Talladega; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Pat Perry of Charlotte, N.C.; his stepmother, Mrs. Myrtle Pettis of Ashland; two brothers, Henry Pettis and James Earl Pettis, both of Ashland; three sisters, Mrs. Lucille Macon of Pell City, Mrs.

Margie Forbes and Mrs. Bernice McCombs, both of Ashland. Pallbearers were Henry Walker, Randy Walker, Jimmy Marler, Phillip Marler, Buddy Marler and John Marler. Mr. Pettis was a native of Clay County and had been a resident of Pell City most of his life.
