Madden officiating. Burial will be in Eden Hills Cemetery with Model City Mortuary in charge. Mrs. Austin died Tuesday at University Hospital in Birmingham. Survivors include her husband.

Henry Austin Jr. of Anniston: a daughter, Miss Fannetta E. Austin of Anniston; three sons, Antonio L. Austin, Henry W. Austin and Bryant D.

Austin, all of Anniston; her father, Harry J. Jenkins of Anniston; two sisters, Mrs. Daisy Hughley of Baltimore and Mrs. Shelia E. Reed of Anniston; three brothers, Harry J.

Jenkins of Baltimore, Donald E. Jenkins of Anniston and Norman D. Jenkins; and several nieces and 'nephews. 'Davis Services for Fred Pearson Davis, 62, of 6332 Winwood Drive, Saks. will be Saturday at 11 a.m.

at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Dr. Brantley Motes officiating. Burial will be in Edgemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home where the body will be throughservices. Mr.

Davis died Wednesday at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital. Survivors include his wife. Mrs. Edna Davis of Saks: three sons. Fred F.

Davis, Michael Davis and Jimmy Davis, all of Saks: sisters, Mrs. Lilliap Allen of California and Mrs. Grace Roberts of Saks; four brothers, Clarence Davis of Piedmont, Hoyt Davis of Indiana. George Davis of Florida and Richard Davis of Pell City; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Brandon Reaves, Steve Reaves, Phillip Reaves.

Jack Davis, Johnny Reaves, Carlton M. Reaves and James Davis. Mr. Davis was a Talladega County native, a Calhoun County resident most of his life and a member of McCoy United Methodist Church. He was a member of Anniston Masonic Lodge No.

700 and the Scottish Rites. He was a World War II veteran. Jordan CENTRE Services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Savage Jordan of Centre will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Neal Hill Cemetery with the Rev.

Melvyn Salter, the Rev. Jimmy Basham and the Rev. Jimmy Savage officiating and Jordan Funeral Home in charge. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 7:30 at the funeral home where the body will be until services. Mrs.

Jordan died Thursday at Caraway Methodist Hospital in Birmingham. Survivors include her husband. Jack A. Jordan of Centre; two daughters, Mrs. Betty J.

Griffin and Mrs. Josephine "Squeeky" Bandini, both of Centre; a son, Joseph "Buddy" Jordan of Centre; two brothers. Joseph "Buddy" Savage and Henry Savage of Rome, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Joe A. Savage, Robby Rains, Thomas Watts, Don Rochester, Jeff Gossett, Derrick Wheeler, Rob Bandini and Jimmy Savage.

Mrs. Jordan was a Tuscaloosa native and a Cherokee County resident most of her life. She was treasurer and business partner with the Jordan Gas Co. in Centre and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Centre. She was a the daughter of the late Henry 'and Emma Chislom Savage.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Cherokee County Rescue Squad. Landers Graveside services for Miss Minnie Bliss Landers, 87, of Jef-' ferson Anniston, will be Satur- day at 11 a.m. at Highland Cemetery with the Rev. Marvin Spry' officiating and Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in charge. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home where the body will be until services.

Miss Landers died Thursday at Regional Medical Center. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Tommy Morgan, Bill Morgan, Jim Morgan, Robert Morgan, Herbert Morgan and Harrell Morgan. Miss Landers was a lifelong Calhoun County resident and. a member of Parker Memorial Baptist.

Church. Merritt AUGUSTA, Ga. Services for Mrs. Willie Plummer Merritt, 75, of Augusta, formerly of Talladega, were today at. 2 p.m.

at Usrey Funeral Home with Dr. Ray Simpson officiating. Burial was in Pine Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Merritt died Wednesday at Georgia Medical College i in Augusta.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ann Roberson of Augusta; a son. William Merritt of Talladega; three Mrs. Helon Williams of Tuscaloosa, Mrs. Lula Williams and Mrs.

Dovie Mitchell, both of Marion: a brother, Leo Plummer of Marion: five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Chris Roberson, Scott Roberson, Tommy Merritt, Jeff Moses, Bill Hayden and Eddie Boger. Mrs. Merritt was a Perry County native and a former Talladega resident. She was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church.

Miller Services for Darwin Cranston Miller. 58. of 3907. Stratford Road, Anniston, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Dr.

Larry Wimberly and the Rev. Marvin Spry officiating. Intombment will be in Forestlawn Mausoleum. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home where the body will be through services. Mr.

Miller died Thursday at Regional Medical Center. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annette Miller of Anniston; two daughters, Mrs. Angela Hill and Miss Dari Miller, both of Anniston; two sisters, Mrs. Doris Owen and Mrs.

Rose H. White, both of Anniston: two brothers, Paul Holland and Daniel Holland, both of Anniston; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Robert Guyton, Ralph White, Tom Wright, Woodrow Gulledge, Ed Dupree, Tommy Dick, Joe Blue and Lewis Lefoy. Mr. Miller was a Georgia native, a World War II and Korean War veteran and former chemist and teacher.

He was a Mason and a member of the National Education Association and the Alabama Education Association. Otwell RANBURNE Services for Mrs. Winnie Mae Otwell, 84, of Ranburne, Rt. 1, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev.

G.K. Abner and the Rev. Monroe Wiggins officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Dryden Funeral Home of Heflin in 1 charge. The family will receive friends tonight at the funeral home in Ranburne where the body will be until an hour before services.

Mrs. Otwell died Thursday at Cleburne County Nursing Home. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Louise Bartlett of Ranburne and Mrs. Odesser Whisenhunt of Carrollton, three sons, Arlin Otwell of Heflin, Linzie Otwell and Fred Otwell, both of Ranburne; 26 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons. Mrs. Otwell was a Blount County native and a Cleburne County resident most of her life. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Pollard ROANOKE Services for Mrs.

Willis officiating. Burial was in Rocky. Branch Cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge. Mrs. Pollard died Wednesday at her home.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ann Mullen of La Grange, Mrs. Betty Partridge of Macon, and Mrs. Reba Conger of Woodland: a son, Terry Pollard of Woodland; two Mrs. Juanita Hill of Hogansville, and Mrs.

Era Baker of La Grange; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers were Bill Spears, Roger Florence, Charlie Hanner, Horace McDaniel, Kenneth Conger and Gary Boyd. Mrs. Pollard was a Tallapoosa County native, a former Woodland resident and a homemaker. She was -a retired textile employee with 25 years of service.

Poss died Thursday at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Martha Poss of Ohatchee; a daughter, Mrs. Lisa Garrett of Eufaula; a son, Danny Poss of Ohatchee; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Joiner of Talladega and Mrs.

Ethel Odom of Lincoln; three brothers, P.W. Poss of Ohatchee, Tom Poss of Birmingham and Gerald Poss of Lincoln; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Keith Poss. Ormand press, Dennis Poss, Gerald Poss. Scottie Poss, Marvin Weathington, and Jim Cosper.

Mr. Poss was a Ohatchee native and resident and a member of Ohatchee Masonic Lodge. Russell Services for Mrs. Hattie B. Russell, 97, of 2600 Church Anniston, will be Saturday at 2 p.m.

at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Ollie English and the Rev. P.Q. English officiating. Burial will be in Egdemont Cemetery with Ervin Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Smith was a Cherokee Countynative and a retired gas employee. He was a Korean War veteran and a member of the Democrative Executive Commitee of Cherokee County. He was the son of the late Jesse and Claudia Adams Smith. Stuart PIEDMONT Services for Mrs.

Gladys Irene Stuart, 77, of Piedmont will. be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Mickelsen Brown-Service Mortuary with the Rev. Wayne Graham officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Piedmont.

Opal Bragg and Mrs. Sylvia McDaniel, both of Piedmont; three grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
