Perrone had been deputy mayor since 1990. He represented the 2nd Ward on the City Council from 1980 to 1987 and was council president from 1984 to 1987. Previously, he worked for Palumbo Distributing Co. He started with the company tn 1946 and was president from 1983 until retiring in 1987. Mr.

Perrone was president of Wine Spirit Wholesalers of Indiana from 1985 to 1987 and received the Time Magazine Distinguished Wine Spirit Wholesale Award in 1985. He was a member of the board of directors of National City Bank, Logansport. from 1983 until earlier this year and was a past president and honorary member of the board of Gi-bault School for Boys. Terre Haute. He was a former board member of the Logansport Chamber of Commerce and chairman of the 1989 Logansport Iron Horse Festival.

A fourth-degree member of Logansport Knights of Columbus. Mr. Perrone was a past grand knight and served as a state deputy from 1960 to 1962. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Memorial contributions may be made to Gibault School for Boys.
