Utke, 49, 1610 East Gimber Street, winner of four Bronze Star Medals in World War II, will be held at 8:30 a.m. in the G. H. Herrmann South East Street Funeral Home and at 9 a.m.

Saturday in St. James the Greater Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. A NATIVE of Marinette, N. F.

Frentress, Bar Owner, Dies Funeral services for Norman F. Frentress, 57, 3821 Prospect Street, owner and operator of Ben's Tavern at 1032 South East Street, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in G. H. Herrmann South East Street Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Born at French Lick, Mr. Frentress had been a resident of Indianapolis most of his life. He died Wednesday in St. Vincent's Hospital.

Mr. Frentress was past president of the Tavern Owners Association of Marion County and was a member of the Moose Lodge. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Wilma Frentress; a daughter, Mrs. Claudette Lepper of Indianapolis; two sons, Bert F.

Frentress of Indianapolis and Farrell L. Don't take take No-Roach 14-oz. 1.77 and a resident of Indianapolis 21 years, Mr. Utke died Wednesday in St. Francis Hospital. In the Army Tank Corps as driver and gunner, he fought in Europe, Africa and the Middle East in W.W.

II. Mr. Utke was a truck driver for Acetylene Products Company the last eight years. He was a member of St. James Church, American Legion Post 88, and 40 8, Voiture 148.

SURVIVORS include the widow, Mrs. Evelyn M. Utke; three daughters, Mrs. Joan M. Grever, Mrs.

Jody M. Anderson and Miss Mary M. Utke, all of Indianapolis; two sons, Paul S. and Richard P. Utke, both of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs.

Bertha Behnke of Milwaukee; two brothers, William J. Utke of Milwaukee and Robert J. Utke of Edinburg, and two grandchildren. Herman Young Dies; Ex-Link-Belt Worker A Funeral services for Herman Young, 74, 2165 Walker Avebe held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in G.H.

Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Young died Thursday in his home. Born at Evansville, Mr.

Young was a resident of Indianapolis for 50 years. He worked as a heat treater for. 50 years at Link Belt, now a division of FMC Corporation. He retired in 1960. He was a member of Olive Branch Christian Church, Odd Fellows Lodge, Ernie Pyle Post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion Post 48.

He was a United States Army veteran of World War I. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Goldie Ozment; a sister, Mrs. Gladys Vespo, both of Indianapolis, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Moore Kirk FUNERAL HOMES, INC.

LI 6-1564 CIVIL WAR GOVERNOR OF INDIANA Oliver Perry Morton: 1823-1877. He was Governor of Indiana, 1861-1867, during the Civil War. Later he was elected to two terms in the U.S. Senate, but died before completing his second term. Governor Morton is buried in Crown Hill Cemetery close to soldiers who volunteered at his call for troops in 1861 and who lie in the national military cemetery within Crown Hill.

Mr. Cox founded the AAA Roofing Company, 910 North Highland Avenue, in 1923. He retired from the business in 1967. A native of Russellville, Mr. Cox was designated in 1965 as an honorary Kentucky Colonel by the governor of that state.

He was a former member of the Moose Lodge. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Harry W. Moore Arlington Chapel. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.

Survivors include the widow, Mrs. M. Marcella Cox of Indianapolis; a daughter, Mrs. Alice Featheringill of Speedway; and four stepsons, Robert Huntington and William, Wesley and Steven L. Thompson, all of Indianapolis.

Mrs. E. R. Bebout Dies At Home Mrs. Gladys Bebout, 78, 7615 North Meridian Street, wife of Dr.

E. R. Bebout, an Indianapolis chiropractor, died yesterday in her home. She was born at Boston, and had lived in Indianapolis 48 years. For many years she worked as a secretary in her husband's office.

She was a member of the Pilot International Service Club and the Greenfield chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was chaplain of the Caroline Scott Harrison chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Before her marriage in 1915, she taught dramatics in a private elementary school at Pittsburgh, Pa. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Flanner and Buchanan Fall Creek Mortuary.

Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery. Survivors, besides the husband, include a sister, Mrs. Peggy Eichel of Decatur, Ill. John A. Hammer John A.

Hammer, 48, 528 North Denny Street, an Army veteran of World War II, died yesterday in the West 10th Street Veterans Administration Hospital. A native of Hebron, Mr. Hammer was retired from the Kropp Forge Company, Chicago, where he was a metallurgist. He was a resident here 15 years. Graveside funeral services will be held at 3 p.m.

Sunday in the Bear Cemetery, Alert, Ind. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Marybelle Hammer; his mother, Mrs. Maude Hammer of Indianapolis; and a daughter, Miss Deborah Hammer of South Bend, Ind. Indiana Deaths J.

Feeta Hiatt, 67, retired inspector for Firestone Industrial Products at Noblesville, in the home of a daughter in Indianapolis. Mrs. Anna Esarey, 85, Tell City, in Lincoln Hills Health Center. Mrs. Unice Kelsey, 82, formerly of Amboy, at Atlanta, Ga.

Melville Davis, 64, Scottsburg, pipefitter and former Indianapolis resident, in his home. Mrs. Helen Finley, 105, formerly of Kendallville, in the Methodist Memorial Home at Warren. Mrs. Agnes Jackson, 84, Versailles, in an Osgood nursing home.

Richard K. Nasser, 71, retired Terre Haute grocer, in St. Anthony Hospital there. Mrs. Alice Nusekabel, 83, Osgood, in a nursing home there.

NEIL ACUFF, 89, mother of country music star Roy' Acuff, Wednesday in a nursing home at Hendersonville, Tenn. Mrs. Paul Staples Dies: Active In GOP Politics Mrs. Winona A. Staples, 62, 4415 North College Avenue, Republican precinct vice-committeeman and former assistant postmaster of the Indiana House of Representatives, died yesterday in Methodist Hospital.

A native of Crandon, Mrs. Staples was a resident of Indianapolis 55 years. She was the assistant postmaster in the Indiana House during the 1962- 63, 1964-65 and 1968-69 sessions of the Indiana General As- Miss O'Hara Dies; Funeral Set Monday Miss Mary Kay O'Hara, 11, 5305 Mark i Lane, died yesterday in Community Hospital. A lifelong resident of Indianapolis, she was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and attended St.

Lawrence School. Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John H. O'Hara; two sisters, Eileen and Ann O'Hara; her maternal grandparents, Mr.

and Mrs. Bradley T. Gaughan, and her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Joseph T. O'Hara, all of Indianapolis.

Betty June Yount, 46, 5234 East 70th Street, wife of an Indianapolis businessman, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the Flanner and Buchanan Broad Ripple Mortuary. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Yount, who died Wednesday in Methodist Hospital, was the wife of Joseph C.

Yount, co-owner and vicepresident of the Eagle Machine Company. She was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis and a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church, the Millersville Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Columbia Club, Highland Golf and Country Club, the Antique Club and the White Cross Guild. Survivors, besides the husband, include a daughter, Cheryl Yount; a son, Joseph C. Yount both at home; the mother, Mrs. Rema Tingle, and a brother, Robert Tingle, both of Indianapolis.

Joseph Stoghill Dies; Construction Worker Funeral services for Joseph L. Stoghill, 51, 346 East 30th Street, an employee of the TriState Construction Company 17 years, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Stuart Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be in New Crown Cemetery. A native of Danville, Ky.

and a resident here 25 years, Mr. Stoghill died Sunday in his home. He was an Army veteran of World War II and served in Europe and North Africa. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Ruth Stoghill, and a son, Adrian Stoghill, both of Indianapolis.

10 10 9 to 8 P.M.. IT PORKY LANE N.A. Perry Jr. Rites Held At Tucson Funeral sevices were held Wednesday at Tucson, for Norman A. Perry 54, a former Indianapolis sportscaster.

Burial was at Tucson. Mr. Perry died Saturday at Tucson where he had been manager of the Tucson Better Business Bureau from the time he moved from Indianapolis in 1952 until his retirement in 1962. Son of the late Norman A. Perry former president of Indianapolis Power and Light and owner of the Indianapolis Indians, the younger Perry was well known as a radio and television personality from the late 1930's until he moved away.

He announced University of Notre Dame football games in 1939 and the 1938 World Series. He was awarded the Sporting News citation for outstanding broadcasting in 1938. He also handled radio broadcasts for the 500-Mile Race, the Kentucky Derby, Gold Cup races and North-South football games. Mr. Perry received national attention in 1962 for his successfull efforts to block the involvement of racketeering interests in Tucson financial affairs.

Born in Indianapolis, he lived here for 26 years. He was graduated from Arizona University. Survivors include a son, Norman A. Perry III of New York City; a daughter, Miss Lynne W. Perry of Tucson, and two grandchildren.

Burris H. McMahan Burris H. McMahan, 66, 1933 North Oxford Avenue, died yesterday in Methodist Hospital. A native of Somerset, he lived in Indianapolis 54 years. He was employed as a bookkeeper two years for Borden Milk Company.

Previously he was employed by the old Morrison Grocery Company for 25 years. Mr. McMahan was a member of Third Christian Church. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in Harry W.

Moore Arlington Chapel. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Blanche C. McMahan; a daughter, Mrs.
