CHEROKEE NEWS ITEMS April wish to extend sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Gray in the loss of their baby, Guy Lewis, born in San Saba Memorial Hospital Friday. Burial was in Cherokee Coimctery Saturday afternoon. Vann Maddox and Mrs.

Alex Hardin of Llano visited Mrs. Annie Lottie Wychoff at ITow last Monday afternoon. On Thursday Mrs. Maddox, uMrs. Hardin and iMrs.

Roddy Maddox and Roman went sightseeing in Austin. Rites Held For Mrs. Nettle, 83 Funeral rites for Mrs. Mary Ann Nettle, 83, 704 Lusty Lane, were held at 11 a.m. (Monday, April 10, in Howell- Doran Funeral Chapel, with B.

L. Peterson and Susan Smith Peterson. was married to Henry Nettle in 1906 at Marble Falls. Her husband died in 1938. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include a 'brother, John Peterson of Austin; and a sister, Mrs. Sarah Heath of Forth Worth; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Ila of Llano I visited Tuesday with Mrs. Nora Gray.

iLcc Schneider of Field Creek spent Sunday with Mr. and 'Mrs. James Smith and Ann. Mr. and Mrs.

Vann Maddox visited Mr. and Mrs. M. B. 'Maddox Sunday and attended the presentation service of the Dr.

James Odiorne marker at Johnson City. iMr. and iMrs. Mike Millican and daughters visited Mr. and 'Mrs.

Chas. iMcLerran Saturday and attended funeral services for -Guy Lewis Gray. Chris, Patty and Tammy spent last week here with Mr. and Mrs. Kejineth and family.

Hilly Walker was taken to San Saba Memorial Hospital ambulance and ia reported to ibe improving. Wo hope he will soon be home. Mr. and IMrs. William Grim of Austin are the parents of a baby daughter iborn in Llano IJospital Friday.

Mrs. James Kuykendall visited Mrs. John Kuykendall, Lisa and Jeff, in Llano Friday and with friendsi at Llano Nursing Home. Mr. and Mrs.

Franklin Grain and Tye will to the Wiley Grain trailer house and Franklin will be employed with Harold Norrell. Mr. and IMrs. Cronje Swindall and Brent of Gatesville spent Thursday night with Mr. and Mrs.

Cecil Bowden. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Bowden of Comanche spent Saturday night with them and Mr. and Mrs.

Rites Held For Mrs. Brown, 92 services for Mrs. Connie Brown, 92, of Richland 'Springs were held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 10, in First Baptist Church at Richland conducted by the Rev. Hugh Magee and the Rev.

Harold Hicks. Burial was in Richland Cemetery under the direction of 'Howell-Doran Funeral Home. Mrs. Brown died Saturday, April 8, in iSan iSaba Home where she had been a resident for five months. She was born April 14, 1879, the daughter of Ashley Feazle Mary Jones Feazle, here in San Saba.

She was married to Jiames W. IBrown in 1899 at Algerita. Her iiusband died Feb. 8, 1936. She was a Methodist.

-Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. M. R. Cannon of San Antonio, Mrs. Ollie of Clyde and Mrs.
