According 10 Herman Engelhardt, chairman of Aahmes out -oftown committee, more than 600 Oakland Shriners will' come to the capital city on a special train. This will be one of the largest out -oftown aggregations to arrive as the guests of Ben Ail Temple of this city.

In the evening preceding the ceremonial there will be two large banquets for the guests, one in the Masonic Temple and another in the civic auditorium. Besides the Oakland delegation the following Shrine temples will be represented by officers and uniform groups, Kerak, Reno, Nevada: Hillah, Ashland, Oregon; Islam, San Francisco; Al Malikah, Log Angeles and Al Bahr, San Diego. Then in 1916 the restaurant was moved to Twelfth and Franklin Streets and the name changed. The restaifrant continued at this location for three years and a half. Then "Pete" decided to take a.

vacation from the restaurant business and for nine years was a retired restaurant man and an active farmer on his Contra Costa County ranch. Five years ago Pete returned to Oakland and opened a restaurant at 517 Eleventh Street, the location up to the present time. At this time he took as a partner Joe Chialvo, an employee for 24 years.
