The Carmel bank has two offices, in Carmel and Greenfield. Maremont, with more than $500 million in annual sales, manufactures replacement shock absorbers and shock systems for vehicles. In addition. Maremont's assets include a large warehouse in the Chicago area and the military hardware manufacturing firm of SACO Defense Systems Inc. Arvin makes automotive, heating, audio and electronic equipment.

Indiana Bell Telephone Co. said it has converted 74 percent of its customer lines to allow equal access to all long distance companies, rather than Just The conversion, or Dial 1 Plus service, gives 1 million customer lines the ability to link with various long distance companies.
