W. R. Alumbaugh spent Sunday and Monday with his daughter, Mrs. Ed Smith. Sunday was Mr.

Alumbaughs birthday. He was seventy-three years old. Last week Mr. Alumbaugh had the misfortune to lose his suit case containing his clothes and keepsakes, near Humboldt. Mrs.

Nora Reese and Mr.L. Rogers went to Iola to visit over Sunday with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Gray brought them back to the Ilill home Monday.
