STAR METRO REPORT Morristown, Ind. Investigators say anger and revenge are the "probable motives" for an arson that became a homicide Wednesday with the, death of Ralph Earl DcBolt. 51. Morristown. Investigators said there are two suspects in the case but released no further details.

BIS1 7 Murder-suicide believed by police Outdoor Cover IfcK' 34 Police theorize that an 81 year-old Marion County man shot his wife to death before committing suicide Thursday because he was despondent and suffered from cancer. The man. Walter F. Waltman. killed his wife because she has been emotionally and physically dependent on him and he was concerned about her remaining years, police believe.

Robert S. Waltman, 56, son of the elderly couple, had received a telephone call from his father at about 6 45 a.m. Police said Walter Waltman simply asked his son to visit before going to work. When the younger Waltman arrived at his father's Acton home at about 7:30 a.m., he found his father dead from a wound inflicted by a 12-gauge shotgun blast to the chest. Wraltman, 82. She had been shot in the head. Marion County Sheriff's Lt. Robert L. Olson theorized that Waltman shot his wife in the head while she lay asleep, then reloaded the gun in the den and shot himself.
