The Indianapolis Speedrome will be busy from Thursday night through Sunday, while Indianapo lis Raceway Park will have action on its five- eighths mile oval Saturday night at on its drag strip Saturday and Sunday The $10,000 Lindner's Independence 100 kicks off the busy Speedrome schedule Thursday. Top pavement and dirt track drivers from through the Midwest are expected to compete in the outlaw stocks event which features a $2,000 to-win oval track 100 lapper and a 50 lap figure-8 race. The outlaws will be back Friday night with twin 50 lap features on the oval and figure 8 course. Also on the program are pro stocks and hobby stocks. THE PRO STOCKS ARE featured Saturday night in the 100-lap Coca-Cola figured mid season championship.

Sunday night will have a doubleheader program with the Fleenor Auto SeriesUSAC Regional Midget Series Firecracker 100 on the oval and the outlaw and pro stocks racing together in a 50 lap figure-8 race: Fireworks also are on the program. Racing starts at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 7:30 on Sunday. Admission is $6 for adults and $2 for children 611 each night. There also will be $8 reserved seats for Sunday's show.
