Clair Frederick. Mr. Taylor was the father of Wtlbert M. Taylor, member of the news staff of the Wilkes-Barre Record. He had not been ill until he was stricken yesterday morn-Deceased was born in Wales and came to this country as an Infant! with his Darents.

The familv set tled in Edwardsville and Mr. Taylor had resided there since. He was employed by Kingston Coal Company for more than 50 years. After that operation closed he became an employe of Glen Alden Coal Company at Buttonwood Colliery, where he worked until one month ago, when he retired. Mr.

Taylor served several terms on Edwardsville Council and was a member of the borough school board three terms, also serving as president or tnat body. He was a member of English Baptist Church, Eowarasvme, His wife. Mrs. Marv Morris Tav- lor. died Mav 25.

Bearers were Adam John Foerch Found Dead in Hotel Room John Foerch, Sr, 89, was found dead In bed yesterday morning in his room at Hotel Hart, when he resided. His body was discovered by his son, John, and daughter, Mrs. James Hlramatsu, 100 East union Street, who had gone to visit their parent They notified, the hotel clerk, Edward Leach, who called city police. Dr.

Robert S. Strieker, deputy coroner, investigated and said that death was due to a heart attack. Detectives John Dunn and John Martin and Patrolman John Soro-kas responded to the call. Mr. Foerch was born in Wilkes-Barre and resided here all his life.

He was employed as a sheet metal worker by Peter Forve for 40 years until he retired. He was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. Surviving are his son and daughter and one grandson, Ernest Hiramatsu. The funeral will be held Monday morning at 11 from the Harold C.

Snowdon Home for Funerals, 64 North Franklin Street. Rev. Burke S. Rivers, rector of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, will officiate.

BAKER George P. Baker, 72, of West Center Street, Danville, a native of Courtdale, passed away Thursday night in Geisinger Hospital, Danville. Mr. Baker spent his early years in Courtdale.

Born at White Haven, Mr. Sigafoos and his family lived for many years at 392 North Main Street, Pittston Junction. His wife, the former Mary Hawkins, died December 28, 1946. He leaves two sons, Russell, Harrlsburg, and John, Pittston; also three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
