At least 12 persons in the bar were injured, officials said, six of them critically.

A policeman and a fireman suffered smoke inhalation. A man was apprehended shortly after the blaze and was being held pending the filing of charges. His identity was not released. Deputy Fire Chief James Thompson said there were about 20 persons in the bar when the fire broke out. "The guy took a five-gallon can of gasoline with two gallons in it, dumped some on the floor, left the can and threw a match in it," said Fire Chief Melvin Keyser.

"I understand the man is now in police custody. I'd say he's around 25 years old." Keyser said the Caboose Bar, a three-story brick building on North 6th Street, was 5 In Memoriams SCHUH VlOla M. Srhnh ana 70 nno tr mother of Mrs. Gladys S. Bud- BOWERS In loving memory of WILLIAM N.

F. CHANCE FUNERAL HOME Tuesday 1 p.m. Union Baptist Church, 42nd at Pendleton Pike. 504 NATIONAL AVE. 784-3546 Phnom Penh, Cambodia (AP) The largest Mekong River supply convoy to reach the capital in more than six months brought ammunition, food and fuel to the capital last night, the Cambodian command said.

On the fighting front, government troops made little headway in their effort tore-take the rebel-held provincial town of g. Villagers southeast of the capital said the Communist-led insurgents slaughtered at least 20 persons, many of them women and children. The convoy, consisting of five cargo ships, four fuel tankers and 17 barges, began arriving at Phnom Penh at dusk. The ships had weathered insurgent rocket and machine gun fire along a 15-mile stretch of the 65-mile journey from the South Vietnamese border. No casualties and only minor damage were reported.

In the battle for Oudong, military sources said more troops and armored vehicles would be sent to secure the Kompong beachhead while other forces push west towards Oudong. The town fell Monday to the rebels. Oudong, 23 miles from Phnom Penh, has little strategic value but considerable religious and historic importance for Cambodians. It was the royal capital 31)0 years ago.
