Each bid must be enclosed in sealed envelope addressed to the Corporation and marked on the outside "Bid for First Mortgage Bonds," and must be accompanied by a fled or cashier's check in the amount of $27,250 payable to the Corporation as a guaranty of good faith on the part of the bidder, to be forfeited as liquidated damages if such bid iS accepted and the bidder tails to take up and pay for the bonds. The checks of the Unsuccessful bidders will De returned immediately following the award of the First Mortgage Bonds. The successful bidder shall make payment for the bonds and accept delivery thereof within five days after being notified that the bonds are ready for delivery, at such bank in the City of Indianapolis.

High School Building Corporation of Warren Township, Marion County, Indiana, was organized for the purpose or erecting and leasing school buildings to The Metropolitan School District of Warren Township, Marion County, Indiana.

All action has been taken and the bonds are issued in compliance with the provisions of Chapter 273 of the Acts of the Indiana General Assembly of 1947, and all acts amendatory thereof and supplemental thereto. The bonds will be secured by a trust indenture to American Fletcher National Bank and the Trust Company. Indianapolis, Indiana, and will be subject to the terms and provisions of said indenture. The property to be covered by the indenture has been leased for a period of 17 years to the aforesaid School District at an annual rental of $260,500, plus the payment of all taxes and assessments, which rental is pavable semi-annually on January 1 and July 1 in each year, commencing with the completion of the school buildings to be erected thereon. All bidders shall be deemed advised as to the provisions the above mentioned trust indenture, lease and the provisions of the aforesaid Chapter 273 of the Acts of 1947, as amended.

Said bonds constitute, an indebtedness only of High School Building Corporation of Warren Township, Marion County. Indiana, payable in accordance with the terms of the above mentioned indenture and the provisions of the aforesaid Chapter 273 of the Acts of 1947, as amended. Under the provisions of the governing statute, the First Mortgage Bonds and the interest thereon are exempt from all taxation in Indiana, except, however, inheritance taxes. In the existing opinion of bond counsel, under federal statute, decisions regulations and rulings, the interest on the First Mortgage Bonds Is exempt from federal income tax.
