Baur, 56, R.R. 2 Carmel, past president of the Indiana Florists' Association, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Flanner and Buchanan Broad Ripple Mortuary, with cremation to follow. A partner of Baur-Steinkamp Company, wholesale florists, Mr.

Baur died Saturday while visiting at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. He was associated with the firm 35 years. He was a member of Carmel United Methodist Church and the Carmel Lions Club, and treasurer of Allied Florists' Association. A lifelong resident of the 1 Indianapolis area, he was graduated in 1937 from Purdue University, where he was a Mrs. Everett Jones Mrs.

Lee Jones, 71, 2314 Union Street, died yesterday in her home. Born in Clark she was a resident of ty, Indianapolis most of her life. She was a member of the Clark County Christian I Church. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in G.

Fleck, 74, 127 North Colorado Avenue, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Tuxedo Park Baptist Church. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Dorsey-Feeney Funeral Home today. Mrs.

Fleck died Saturday at Community Hospital. Born at LeRoy, she was an Indianapolis resident most of her life. She was a member of the Tuxedo Park church and a past president of the Public School 58 ParentTeacher Association. Survivors include the husband, Leslie E. Fleck, and three sons, Leslie E.

Fleck Jr. of Charlotte, N.C., and John C. Fleck and Robert W. Fleck, both of Indianapolis. Earl R.

Green Services for Earl R. Green, 80, 1222 North Colorado Avenue, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Harry W. Moore Arlington Chapel, with entombment in Washington Park East Mausoleum. Mr.

Green died Saturday in Community Hospital. A native of Knightstown, he had been an Indianapolis resident most of his life. He was a mechanic for International Harvester Company 14 years before retiring in 1958. He was a former member of the United Auto Workers. Survivors include the widow, Frances, and a daughter, Mrs.

Winnifred Kindred of Indianapolis. Virgil Huelson Osgood, Ind. Virgil Huelson, 71, R.R. 2, Osgood, a retired farmer, died yesterday in Margaret Mary Community Hospital at Batesville. Services will be held at 2 p.m.

Tuesday in the Fallis Funeral Home with burial in Holton Cemetery. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Barbara Huelson. member of Phi Kappa Psi ternity. Survivors include the widow, Mrs.

Edith G. Baur, and two daughters, Mrs. William H. Merrill Jr. and Miss Sara Baur, both of Carmel.

L. M. Bannon Dies; Founded Radio Company L. M. (Jack) Bannon, 65, 7018 West 71st Street, died yesterday in a local nursing home.

Mr. Bannon founded Radio Distributing Company (now RA-DIS-CO) in 1933 and was owner and manager before retiring in 1969. He was a native of Wingate and had been an Indianapolis resident 40 years. He was a member of Trader's Point Christian Church, Highland Golf and Country Club, Calvin Prather Masonic Lodge 717, the Scottish Rite, Murat Shrine, Indianapolis Exchange Club, American Bowling Congress and Voyager 1000. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m.

Wednesday in Flanner and Buchanan Broad Ripple Mortuary. Burial arrangements are pending. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. 1 Violet F. Bannon; a son, Leslie A.

Bannon, and a daughter, Mrs. Janice Selig, all of Indianapolis. Herman C. Strube Services for Herman C. Strube, 63, 1441 South Moreland Avenue, will be held at 11 a.m.

Tuesday Farley Marwood Hill Chapel. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery. Mr. Strube died Saturday in his home. Born at Nashville, Mr.

Strube had been an Indianapolis resident 40 years. He worked 28 years for the Hoosier Coal and Oil Company. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Vera H. Strube; the mother, Mrs.

Mary Regina Strube; and two sons, David H. Strube of Indianapolis and Dann M. Strube of Jeffersonville. Mrs. Carl Swim Services for Mrs.

Hazel Swim, 78, Pompano Beach, formerly of Indianapolis, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Flanner and Buchanan Broad Ripple Mortuary. Entombment will be in Crown Hill Mausoleum. Mrs. Swim died Friday at home.

Born at Grove City, Mrs. Swim was an Indianapolis resident 33 years before moving to Pompano Beach a year ago. She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Grove City. Kester Services for Alvin L. Kester, a bookbinder at Eckhart Co. Inc. 20 years, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in J.

C. Wilson Chapel of the Chimes, with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. Mr. Kester died Saturday at home, 1647 Spann Avenue. A native of Terre Haute, he was an Indianapolis resident most of his life.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the funeral home. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Helen 1 Hopper of Gary and two brothers, Edward and Clarence Kester, both of Indianapolis. Mrs.

Mathis Services for Mrs. ClaraBelle Mathis, 84, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Harry W. Moore Peace Chapel, with entombment in Washington Park East Mausoleum. Mrs.

Docktor Dies; Ex-Harvester Foreman Services for Carl J. Docktor, 68, 6635 Beecher Court, who died Saturday at Madison, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in J. C. Wilson Chapel of the Chimes.

Entombment will be in Forest Lawn Mausoleum. A lifelong resident of Indianapolis, Mr. Docktor was tool room foreman with International Harvester Company for 29 years before retiring in 1965. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Ethel Docktor; a son, Carl L.

Docktor of Belleville, and two daughters, Mrs. Louise Bedinger of Indianapolis and Mrs. Bettie Wagner of Martinsville. Services for Oscar H. Rike, 78, 202 North Meridian Street, Greenwood, will be held at 2 p.m.

Tuesday in J. C. Wilson Greenwood Chapel. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Mr.

Rike died Saturday in Johnson County Memorial Hospital. Born in Morgan County, Mr. Rike was a Greenwood resident most of his life. He worked 36 years in the tool room of Arvin Industries Inc. before retiring in 1958.

He was an Army veteran of World War and a member of the Greenwood American Legion Post. Survivors include the widow, Anna. Oscar H. Rike Mrs. Goldie Lucas Services for Mrs.

Goldie L. Lucas, 92, 237 Oakland Avenue, widow of James E. Lucas and a former Bloomington resident, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Allen Colonial Chapel at Blooming. ton, with burial in Mount Ebal Cemetery near Bloomington.

Aiken (R-Vt.) says the hierarchy of the GOP is blundering if it assumes Democrat George S.

McGovern would be a pushover in November. "George McGovern would get votes," he said. "He's not Aiken, who has served longer than any other Republican in the Senate, said President Nixon still appears to him like November's winner, but overconfidence could undermine him and, anyway, presidential elections are settled in October. Aiken said McGovern will win the bulk of Aiken the millions who won the franchise when the voting age was lowered to 18 as well as those who are discontent with Mr. Nixon's performance and those who want change for change's sake.

Fischer Cancels Iceland Flight Reykjavik (UPI) Bobby Fischer, American challenger to Russian chess world champion Boris Spassky, abruptly canceled his flight ticket to Reykjavik, Icelandic Chess Federation officials said last night. Fischer, of Brooklyn, was scheduled to arrive here this morning to prepare for the 24-game world chess championship match starting July 2. The prize money totals 000 with five-eighths going to the winner. T. Thorarisson, president of the Icelandic federation, told the island nation on television, Fischer had canceled the flight but that he did not know the reason why.

Airline spokesmen at New York confirmed the can- Fischer cellation. Pearl Buck Optimistic On Future Philadelphia (AP) Pearl S. (AP)- Governor Wendell Ford of Kentucky will undergo surgery today for removal of an aneurism of his abdominal aorta, a major artery, an aide to the governor said yesterday. The operation was described by Ford's physician, Dr.

Michael DeBakey, a vascular surgeon, as "a standard curative procedure." Ford's press secretary, Thomas Preston, said the operation will require one hour, after which the governor will remain at the hospital for a total of 10 days after the surgery. Wednesday in Messiah Missionary Baptist Church, with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. Mr. Johnson died Saturday at Danville, Ill. A native of Okolona, he had been an Indianapolis resident 60 years. He was a pharmacy helper for the Veterans Administration for 15 years until his retirement in 1959.

He was a deacon at Messiah church. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Cornelia M. Johnson; a stepson, Charles H. Smith of St.

Louis, and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Margaree of Indianapolis. Mrs. Lucille Gibson Services for Mrs. Lucille R.

Gibson, 71, Shelbyville, widow of Frank A. Gibson, former manager of the J. C. Penney Company, store at 2 at p.m. Shelbyville, Tuesday in the Ewing Mortuary in Shelbyville, with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery there.

She died Saturday in Winona Memorial Hospital. Thurman E. Sego Bloomington, Services for Thurman E. Sego, 76, Bloomington, a retired employe of the Monon Stone Mill here, will be held at 10:30 a.m. today in the Allen Colonial Chapel, with burial in Clear Creek Cemetery.

He died Friday in his home. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Laura Sego. Indiana Deaths Clarksburg -Clifford A. Martz, 82.
