Cotiltas, 7(i years old, 'Jell City physician for years who died Friday night, will be held at 2 p.m. (CST) Tuesday in the 1 1 rst United Church of Christ. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery at Tell City, J)r, Coultas, a former Perry and Spencer County teacher, died in a Louisville Veterans Administration hospital. He was a director of the Citizens National Bank at Tell City for 30 years and also had been vice-president the bank. A graduate of the University of Louisville, he also had been Perry County health commissioner and coroner.

William Smith, Minister Wife, Dies Mrs. Edna Sue Smith, 41 years old, 1540 East 52d Street, died yesterday in Moth-odist Hospital, She was the wife of the Rev. William Martin Smith, general representative of the Pension Fund for the Disciples of Christ (Christian Church). The Rev. Mr.

Smith formerly held pastorates at the Evansville East Side Christian Church and the Browns-burg Christian Church. Mrs. Smith was born at Enid, and lived in In dianapolis seven years. She formerly taught school as a substitute teacher and was studying for a master's degree at Butler University. She was a member of North- wood Christian Church here.

Funeral services will be Tuesday in the church at a time to be announced. Other survivors include a son. Stephen Smith at home, and a daughter. Mrs. David Whinrey, attending Indiana University.

Mrs. Albert Wright Mrs. Lula Mae Wright, 65 years old, an Indianapolis resi dent most of her life, died yesterday in Morgan County Memorial Hospital at Martins ville. She had lived near Martinsville the last four years. Born in Kentucky, Mrs.

Wright retired two years ago after 3C years as an employe of the Kingan Division of the Hygrade Food Products Corporation. She was a member of Monrovia Christian Church and a former member of Ben Davis Christian Church. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Ben Davis church. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery at Plainfield.

Martin Clinton, Ex-Reporter, Dies Martin Clinton, 4S years old, former publicist and United Press reporter, died yesterday in his home at 714 Bacon Street. Memorial services are being arranged by the J. C. Wilson Funreal Home at Greenwood.

The body was cremated yesterday. Mr. Clinton was a native of Greenwood and had lived in Indianapolis 35 years. He formerly was publicity director for the Marion County Democratic Central Committee and editor of a weekly Democratic newsletter. He formerly edited the Wm.

H. Block Company house organ. He was a member of All Soul's Unitarian Church, Indiana Democratic Club and the Indiana Club of New York City. A graduate of William Pcnn College, Mr. Clinton was the originator of the junior citizen plan for high school pupils.

Collins, 51 years old, former Indianapolis public school teacher, died yesterday at his home in Lincoln, after a month Mr. Collins was a junior school teacher a School 63 until pt he retired, due to ill health, at the end of last semester.

Dur ing the 10 years he lived here, he also had taught at Emmerich Manual Training, Shortridge and Arsenal Technical high schools. A native of Wcstfield, he had been a teacher in the Iowa schools before moving to Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at Hodgman Mortu ary, at Lincoln. Burial will be in Wyuka Cemetery there. Survivors are the widow, Mrs.

Myrl Taylor, 63 years old, a resident of Indianapolis 33 years, died yesterday at her home, 1216 Herbert Street. Clark, 63. r1 1 Carl Dean, Pioneer In Radio Dies Carl W. Dean, 73 years old, one of the city's first amateur radio operators, died yesterday in his home at 3354 Grace-land Avenue. Mr. Dean began sending and receiving as an amateur in the days of the spark signal before 1910, the earliest pioneer period of U.S.

"ham" radio. He was one of the first to be licensed when Federal licensing began in 1912. LATER he was assigned the call 1 1 1 cr W9LQ. He switched to carrier wave, as did other amateurs after the radio blackout that came during World War II, and continued to operate his station here for rriany years, making radio contacts throughout this country and with amateurs overseas. Born near Madison, he Had lived here 53 years, and was employed by the Buick Motor Car Company for several years before he became a self-cm-ployed electrician and radio repairman.

HE HAD RETIRED because of poor health and failing eyesight approximately 10 years ago, but continued to monitor amateur communications. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Flanner and Buchanan Fall Creek Mortuary with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. Surviving are a sister, Miss Mabel Dean, and a brother, Lloyd M. Dean, both of Indianapolis.

Mrs. Funeral services will be held tomorrow in Our Lady of Lourdcs Catholic Church for Mrs. Frances F. O'Connell, 65 years old, 3623 East Washington Street, who died Friday in St. Francis Hospital.

She was past president of the St. Francis Hospital Guild. A native of Joplin, Mrs. O'Connell had spent most of her life In IndianapO' lis. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdcs Church, Daughters of Isabella and Fraternal Order of Moose Auxiliary.

Services will be held at 9 a.m. In the church. Burial will be In St. Joseph Cemetery. Survivors arc seven daughters, Sister Agnes Bcrnadctte, OSF; Mrs.

John Gibbons. Mrs. O. Wilson, Mrs. James Strack and Mrs.

Mrs. Crawford Mrs. Katherine B. Crawford, 77 years old, died yesterday at her home, 626 Massachu setts Avenue. Born at Pittsburgh, Mrs.

Crawford had been a resident of Indianapolis since the death of her husband, T. H. Craw ford, in 1933. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the Hiscy and Titus Mortuary.

Id- ward and Marilyn Caldwell. Lidor Cole Dies; Ex-Bell Engineer Isidor M. Cole, 5131 North Capitol Avenue, a retired In diana Bell Telephone Company plan engineer, died yesterday in St. Vincent's Hospital fol lowing a two-month illness. He was 72 years old.

Mr. Colo was born at Lafay. ctte and had lived in Indianap olis since 1910. He retired in 1951. He was a 1910 graduate oi Purdue University and a char ter member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity chapter there.

Mr. Cole was member St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, the St. Thomas Men's Club and the Knights of Co lumbus. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.

in Kirby Mortuary and at 9 a.m. In St. Thomas Church. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery at Lafayette.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Margarcth Cole; a daugh ter, Mrs. R. V. Johnston: a son, Isidor M.

Wilson Chapel of the Chimes. Entombment will be in Washington Park Mausoleum. Mrs. Jackson died Friday In General Hospital. Born at Dale, she had lived in Indianapolis 49 years.
