Havre Teachers Form Credit Union Group 6-Havre Daily News, Thursday Evening, December 7, 1967 Officials To Tour Facility City officials will tour and Inspect the Sacred Heart Hospital tonight, city eouncilmen being included In the visiting group. Their tour and inspection is In connection with the suggested purchase of the property by the city of Havre for remodeling and use as a city hall and rental of surplus space to other governmental agencies that might be interested. Former Resident Succumbs Relatives and friends here have received information that Mrs. Marge (Driscoll) Hablck, a former resident of Havre, died Tuesday in San Leandro, Calif. Funeral services were conducted today at theGrant-Miller Mortuary in Oakland.

Before moving to California more than 25 years ago, Mrs. Habick was employed in the clerk and recorder's office here. She was a native of wabasha, Minn. Among her survivors are her second cousins, Dr. D.

Cousins Win BILLINGS (AP) Cousins from northeastern Montana were two of the four winners and alternates chosen in the state during the "Make It Yourself with Wool Contest" Wednesday. and Mrs. James Bussinger of Plentywood, was senior division alternate. Other top entries were Miss Janelle Fallan, 17, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund FaHan of Helena, as senior division winner, and Miss Belinda Orem, 16, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Evetett Orem of Columbia Falls, as junior alternate. Meet Meatless Meats Olsen Seeks Worker Rights Teachers and staff members of all the public schools including parochial schools and Northern Montana college in Hill County have formed their own credit union, Ernest Hofmann, president of the new organization, announced today. All of the approximately 1000 employees of Hill County school systems are eligible for membership in the Educator's Federal Credit Union, which recently received its charter from the Bureau of Federal Credit Unions. Officers of the new credit union were elected at a membership meeting last night in the Student Union Building on the Northern Montana College campus.

(AP) A statewide search continued today for Albert Seigel Johnson, 31, a State Penitentiary convict who escaped from the Colorado State Hospital Tuesday. Johnson was described as a psychopathic personality when he was sentenced to 80 years to life for an armed robbery in Denver in 1959. Prison officials said Johnson walked out of the hospital's surgical ward about 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Members of the credit committee, which will act on loan applications, were also elected at the meeting. The main purpose of the credit union is to teach its members the value of thrift, by providing them with a convenient place to save together and a source of low-cost credit. It will be operated entirely by the school personnel and their elected representatives.

The Educator's Federal Credit Union became affiliated with the Montana Credit Unions League whose offices are in Helena. Elroy Letcher, who assisted the group in their organization and in the development of their operating policies, welcomed the group as members of the 13- million member credit union movement. Letcher said there are now 133 credit unions in Montana with approximately 60,000 members possessing approximately $35,000,000 in assets.
