WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 1957- -THE INDIANAPOLIS STAR OBITUARIES Jennings Rites Slated For Thursday Funeral services for Mrs. Mary S. Jennings, 69 years old, 1011 East Georgia Street, who died Monday in St. Vincent's Hospital, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Grinsteiner Funeral Home and at 10 a.m.

in Holy Cross Catholic Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Jennings, who was secretary-treasurer of the Colonial Savings and Loan Association, was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis. She had been an employe of the savings and loan firm since its founding by her late husband, Gus Jennings, and his brother, Conrad Jennings, also deceased, 44 years ago.

She became an officer after her husband's death 30 years ago. Mrs. Jennings was a member of Holy Cross Church and the Legion of Mary at the church. There are no immediate survivors. Thomas Murray Thomas Murray, 82 years old, 1320 South Glenarm Road, died yesterday in a private nursing home.

A native of Clayton, Mr. Murray had lived here since 1918. He worked as a clerk for Hibben-Hollweg Co. for 33 years before his retirement four years ago. He was a member of Mt.

Olive Methodist Church here and the Knights of Pythias at Terre Haute. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Moore Kirk Ben Davis Chapel. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Survivors include the widow, Mrs.

Clarissa M. Murray, and a sister, Mrs. Mayme Goodman of Osceola, Ia. Mrs. Nancy Lentz Funeral services for Mrs.

Nancy E. Lentz, 86 years old, who died Monday in her home, 4409 West Morris Street, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in Conkle's West 16th Street Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Born in West Virginia, Mrs.

Lentz had been a resident of Indianapolis 70 years. She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical and Reformed Church; Naomi Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, and Temple Rebecca Lodge. are three sons, Lentz of Brownsburg, and Carl W. and John E.

Lentz, both of Indianapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Vila M. Shuh and Miss Nancy Ethel Lentz, both of Indianapolis; 23 grandchildren, and 36 greatgrandchildren. Mrs. William Walker Funeral services tor Mrs.

Anna Brown Walker, 72 years old, who died Monday in her home, 2317 North Capitol Avenue, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in Stuart Mortuary. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. A native of Versailles, Mrs. Walker was a resident of Indianapolis 56 years.

Survivors are the husband, William Walker city dispatcher for the Indianapolis Board of Sanitary Commissioners; a son, William Walker a daughter, Mrs. Anna Lois Trigg, and a brother, Russell Smith, all of Indianapolis; two grandchildren, and three great -grandchildren. A resident of Indianapolis 60 years, he had lived at 3315 Graceland Avenue. He was an accountant for BobbsMerrill Co. Inc. publishing house. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.

Thursday in Royster and Askin Funeral Home, with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery, Survivors include two brothers, Lester Brock of Greensburg and Earl Brock of Bloomfield, and two sisters, Mrs. Luella Barley of St. Paul and Mrs. Naomi Laughlin of Greensburg. Sterling M.

Pierce Sterling M. Pierce, 69 old, 912 North Grant Avenue, retired high school instructor, died yesterday in a local nursing home. Born in Montgomery County, Mr. Pierce was a science instructor at South Bend Central High from 1920 until 1952, when he retired and moved to Indianapolis. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite at South Bend and the Downey Avenue Christian Church here.

Mr. Pierce was graduated from Purdue University and was a veteran of World War 1. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Shirley Brothers Drexel Chapel, with burial in Washington Park Cemetery. survivors, include Baumgardt a sister, of Indianapolis, and two nephews.

Frank Vance Funeral services for Frank Vance, 67 years old, 2334 Hovey Street, a janitor at Keiths Theater, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in George M. Miller Mortuary. Corn at Bandana, Vance, who died Saturday in General Hospital, was a resident of Indianapolis 20 He was a member Church of Christ. He is survived by a brother, LeeRoy, of Indianapolis.

A Addie H. Smith, who died Monday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Herman G. Horstman, 11 Kessler Boulevard, West Drive, with whom she lived, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Flanner and Buchanan Broad Ripple Mortuary.

Graveside services will be held at 4:30 p.m., Friday in Rose Hill Cemetery at Bloomington. A native of Shoals, Mrs. Smith was a former teacher in the Martin County schools. She was a resident of Fort Wayne 26 years and had lived in Indianapolis for the last 11 years. She was a graduate of Indiana State Teachers College at Terre Haute and a member of the Christian Church at Shoals.

Surviving in addition to Mrs. Horstman is another daughter, Miss Wylma -W. Smith of Indianapolis, and a H. C. Robinson, Barber, Dies Funeral services for Harold C.

Robinson, 66 years old, 1814 South Talbot Avenue, who died Monday in Methodist Hospital, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in G. H. Herrmann Funeral Home. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery.

A native of Bruceville, Mr. Robinson had been a resident of Indianapolis 25 years. He was operator of the Methodist Hospital barber shop. He was a member of the Capitol City Gun Club and Olive Branch Christian Church. Survivors are the widow, Mrs.

Grace Robinson; a daughter, Mrs. Jean Allanson, and a son, Alfred Robinson, both of Indianapolis; a sister, Miss Alice Robinson of Bruceville, and four grandchildren. brother, Lea M. White of Houston, Tex. Police Will Give Blood To Girl Minneapolis, Minn.

(UP) Minneapolis policemen said yesterday they will donate their blood to the daughter of a French policeman when she undergoes, a delicate heart operation here this week. Inspector Pat Walling said the call for blood donors will go out as soon as the blood type of Marie Line Christian is known. He expected no difficulty finding enough donors among city police. Marie, 2 years old, is doomed to die unless the heart operation succeeds. She and her mother were sent to the United States with money contributed by citizens of their home town, Boulogne, France.

Dr. C. Walton Lillehei is expected to perform the operation on Marie either Tuesday or Wednesday at the University of Minnesota heart hospital.
