Current offerings from growers continued light because of dissatisfaction with present prices and also due to uncertainty of new crop developments. Inquiry for offerings was only fair and this tended to hold price gains, in cheek. Export clearances were fairly heavy but were applied principally on previous sales. United Kingdom buyers continued to take a few-hundred lots of medium and chaice malting types but inquiry laced force. Ocean space was slighuyfirmer with rates to London mostly quoted at.

22 shillings 6 pence. Space to Hull was scarce and quoted at ,27 shillings per long ton. MOVEMENT IS SLOW.
