Typical of the farms included in the tours is that operated by W. A. Hanna and his son, Richard Hanna, southeast of Martinsville. The farm, consisting of 271 acres, was visited recently by some 75 Morgan and Johnson County farmers who seemed to be primarily interested in hog production, the farm's major enterprise.

Young Hanna served as host for the visitors, and answered a great variety, of questions. He disclosed, among other things, that an average of nine pigs per litter, two and one-half more than the national average, have been raised to market age on the farm for the past three years.
