His son's wife saw him falling and called her husband, who was at the barn and although he was almost Instantly on the spot his father was dead. Four of his children were present at his funeral.

Mr. John Barrows, who lived with him, his daughter Mrs. Kelly, of Bristol, Mich, Mrs. Niles, of Angola and Mrs. Kittrtge, of Pleasant township, their husbands and children being also with them.
