Wellman, 91 years old, who organized the Indiana University Department of Home Economics and served as its head for 24 4 years, died Friday Brookline (Mass.) nursing home. Funeral services will be held Monday. AFTER GRADUATING Wellesley College in 1895, Miss Wellman taught in the Brookline public schools and at Rockford College and Lewis Institute before to Indiana University to coming, establish a Home Economics Department, She retired in 1953 but remained in Bloomington until going to Brookline four years ago.

IN 1925 MISS Wellman 1 received her Ph.D. degree from Mrs. Sadie Mann, Speedway, Dies Mrs. Sadie M. Mann, 79 years old, 4986 Ford Street, Speedway, died yesterday in a local nursing home.

Mrs. Mann, a lifelong Indianapolis res sident, was a charter member of St. Christopher Catholic Church, and was the first president of the church's Altar Society. She also was a member of the Royal Neighbors Club and the Mayflower chapter of the International Travel Study Club. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 8:30 a.m.

in Conkle Speedway Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. in the church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Survivors include two sons, John and Bernard Mann; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Logsdon, all of Indianapolis, eight grandchildren and three great- Grandchildren Mrs.

Alice B. Fitch Succumbs At Danville Mrs. Alice B. Fitch, 50 1 years old, R.R. 8, Box 367, Indianapolis, died yesterday in Hendricks County Hospital at Danville, Mrs.

Fitch, born at Cicero, and an Indianapolis area resident 17 years, had worked as a cashier at the Harry Levinson clothing firm 15 years. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Conkle Speedway Funeral Home. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery. Survivors include a stepson, Air Force Sgt.

Thomas E. Fitch of Smyrna, and two stepgrandchildren, Roy W. Feik Services Set For Tuesday Graveside services for Rov W. Feik, retired director of the Indianapolis Downtown Center of Indiana University, will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Union Cemetery at La Moille, Ill.

Mr. Feik, 73 years old, longtime educator and an authority on the late President Woodrow Wilson, died Saturday in his home at 5877 North Pennsylvania Street. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. today at Flanner and Buchanan Broad Ripple Mortuary.

Emma Beasley Dies; Services Tuesday Terre Haute, Ind. (Spl.) Funeral services for Emma Jaffey Beasley of Terre Haute, milliner for H. P. Wasson Co. of Indianapolis for 25 years, will be held at 1:30 p.m.

Tuesday in the Cross Funeral Home here. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. She died Saturday in Union Hospital here. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Glen Loser of Terre Haute.

A resident of Indianapolis for 40 years, Mrs. Lehman was a charter member of Broadmoor Country Club, and a member of the Womens' Golf Association. She died Friday at St. Vincent's Hospital. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs.

Gertrude B. Miller and Mrs. William Van Nuyse, both of St. Louis, Mo. Robert Snelson Dies At Home Robert D.

Snelson, 43 years old, 2760 North Butler Avenue, died yesterday at his home. Death was believed due to a heart attack. Born at Anderson and an Indian apolis resident 25 years, he had been employed at the Fairmount Glass Corporation 13 years. He was a member of the first United States Navy fleet to enter Japan after the surrender in 1945. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m.

Wednesday in Conkle Speedway Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Mary Snelson; two daughters, Barbara and Carolyn Snelson; five sons, Harry, Donald, Gary, Bruce and Robert D. Snelson all at home; his father, Harry Snelson: his grandmother, Mrs.

Harriett Snelson. and two sisters. Mrs. Sara Harris and Mrs. Pearl Callahan, all of Indianapolis.

Mrs. Ethel Foster, Saleswoman, Dies Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel L. Foster, 69 years old, 5630 Winthrop Avenue, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Shirlev Brothers Central Chanel.

Burial will be in Washinoton Park East Cemeterv. Mrs. Foster, at North Manchester and an Indiananolis resident 41 years, died Saturday in Memorial Clinic. She was a saleswoman for L. S.

Avres Co. and had been a clerk for the Indiana Gross Income Tax Division. She was a member of Brookside Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, and Northwood Christian Church. Survivors include a son, William S. Foster of Indianapolis: a daughter, Mrs.

Mrs. Stewart died Friday in Marion General Hospital and died of heart County, trouble Saturday at their home at 2105 North Senate Avenue. Born at Logansport, Mrs. Stewart had been an Indianapolis resident 15 years. She was a member of the Second Christian Church.

Mr. Stewart was born at Carthage and had been an Indianapolis resident 39 years. He was a veteran of World War II and was employed as a claims department clerk in the United States Veterans Administration for 18 years. He was member of the Edward Gaylaird American Legion Post No. 107.

Survivors include Mrs. Stewarts two other sons, Cecil M. Stewart of Indianapolis and Orville R. Stewart of Chicago; and a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Worthingon of Indianapolis.

Mental Health Parley To Host Youngest Worker Eight-year-old Patricia Irene Miller of North Vernon, the youngest volunteer worker the Indiana Association for Mental Health, will be guest of honor during the association's annual meeting Thursday and Friday. Patricia, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Delbert L.

Miller, is a volunteer at Muscatatuck State School. Special permission was given by Dr. Donald Jolly, superintendent of the school, for her to do the "Gold Lady" work because of her age. SHE FIRST went to the school in June with a dren's square dance club to teach the residents square dancing. A third grader at Scipio School, she has had to give up some of her volunteer service time to go back to school this month.

W. G. Klein Funeral To Be Held In Vevay Funeral services for William G. Klein, 71 years old, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Flanner and Buchanan Broad Ripple Mortuary.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. in Vevay (Ind.) Cemetery. Mr. Klein, 1819 East 65th Street, owned and operated the city's first neighborhood shoe store--at Fairfield and College avenues--for 30 years before his retirement in 1958. He died Saturday in an Indianapolis hospital.
