Negotiations are under way to retain Bea Lillie, British comedienne, as a regular star of the program. Semifinals of the state basketball will be broadcast beginning; at 1:45 o'clock this afternoon from the Technical High School gymnasium by WKBM.

Announcers will be Len Riley and Al Feeney. The night games will begin at 8:30 o'clock. At 10:30 o'clock tonight Ford dealers will sponsor a half hour program over WIRE, giving the tournament results. The spectacular features of all twelve games in the semifinals, as well as the names of the four winners who will meet here next week, will be covered in the sum mary. The final Saturday matinee of the Metropolitan Opera will begin at o'clock this afternoon over WIRE and the combined NBC net work when Puccini's "La Rodine will be presented.

This work, originally hilled for Jan. 25 and postponed because of the indiaposition of l.ucrezia Rori, will have its first American radio hearing this afternoon. Benny Fields, Broadway's newest singing sensation, will join Fannie Price, Patti Chapin and Al Goodman's orchestra as one of the stars of the new Ziegfeld Follies series with the broadcast at 7 o'clock tonight by WFBM and the CBS. Charlie Ruggles, one of Holly-woods most popular liRht comedy stars, will help Al lighten up the rodio bill tonight when ho heads the quest star bill on the Chateau broadcast at 8:30 o'clock tonight over WLW and the WEAF network. Market for good lambs displayed a slightly stronger undertone than on any day recently. Bulk of the rood fed Western lamba was moved at $10.25 to $10.50 a hundredweight. Good native lambs were quoted steady at $10 to $10.50 and lesa attractive classes were listed at $7.50 to $9.75.
