After graduation he began al ong and distin- guishedcareerasasocialstudiesteacherin WestportandBallardHighSchoolsandas a FullbrightScholarexchangeteacherwherehe taughtinEnglandforayear. Greghadalonganddistinguishedcareeras oneofthefinestswimmingcoachesinthe country.From1963-1976hewasthecoachat thenPlantationSwimClubwherehehelped developnumerousStateandNationalelite BronzeMedalWinnerinthe100Butterflyat the1968OlympicsinMexicoCity.Greg coachedanddevelopedmanyswimmerswho then went on to college with swimming schol- arships.WhilecoachingatbothWestportand KYHighSchoolStateSwimmingChampion- shipsandwasveryinstrumentalingettingthe NationalAAUSwimChampionshipsheldin Louisvillein1969and1973atPlantation SwimClub.
