Steve was born on May 22, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan and was preceded in death by his father Leonard Ucinski and mother Janet Kincannon. Steve graduated from Bentley High School in June of 1 977 and retired from General Motors in 2013 after 35 years of service. Before his retirement, he founded Elevator Specialist, where he continued to repair and install elevators in the Metro Detroit area. Steve had an infectious and fun-loving spirit. His free time was spent enjoying family and friends, whether it was at a Tigers game, camping, or skiing.

Steve is survived by his treasured daughters, Jacqlyn and Robin; the mother of his children, Kathleen; his faithful dog, Sadie; his sisters, Kathleen Hamilton of Moss Landing, California, Marcy Ann Singer of Orion, Ml, Laura Lynn Mason of California, Kentucky, Karen Ann Somers of Independence, KY, and Deana Ucinski-Scott of Independence, KY. Mary was a pioneering woman lawyer for Michigan Bell and while initially appointed as Judge, subsequently was successfully re-elected twice. At the end of her long career, she encountered adversity which she met with courage and fortitude. She was a tower of strength to her family and friends and overcame much in her life. She was honest, hard working and she always loved the underdog especially when it came to rescuing animals. She was an accomplished athlete, running marathons and climbing mountains (including Mt.

Everest) all the way through 201 3. But most of all, Mary brought people together in her career, in her family, and in her community. She touched people's lives in profound ways and her sudden illness and passing is a loss too great to fully communicate. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 1 at the Jefferson Avenue Presbyterian Church, 8625 East Jefferson Avenue (between Burns and Jefferson).

WILSON JAMES CHARLES Passed away in his Livonia home after a long battle with cancer on April 21st 2014 at the age of 66.
