Mrs. Miller was the sister-in-law of Gerald Miller of Rt.

3. Greenfield, owner and operator of Koob's Jewelry Store in this city. The accident was caused when the car Mrs. Miller was driving skidded on wet pavement and struck a concrete abutment as she was attempting to pass a bicyclist on the road. Her son, a passenger in the car, was only slightly injured.

School Street, this city, died Wednesday morning in Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie. Mr. Hayes spent most of his life in New Castle and had been employed at the New Castle Post-office since 1923. He was a member of the Christian Church and Masonic Lodge. Surviving besides the son in this city are the wife.
