The sleeves were bracelet length.

She had a silver metallic doll hat and also wore a silver fox jacket, chubby style, and had a corsage of white roses. Mrs. Carney is a graduate of St. John's High School and East Stroudsburg State Teachers' College and had been a teacher in Pittston Township Schools. Mr.

Carney is a graduate of St. John's High School, Scranton, and is employed by Westinghouse Electric Company at Newark. Breakfast was served at Hotel Jermyn, Scranton. There was a reception later at the home of the bride's parents. GREBECK-LAPSANSKY Miss Mary Lapsansky, daughter of Mrs.

Elizabeth Lapsansky, 1372 Main Street, Port Griffith, and John Grebeck, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Grebeck, 1351 Main Street, also of Port Griffith, were married Saturday morning at 10 at St Joseph's Polish Church, Port Griffith, by the pastor, Rev. Vincent Beyma. Attendants were Kathryn Tichy and Joseph Lapsansky, brother of the bride.

Luzerne Druggist Is Chosen As Council Member Fred Pritchard, local druggist, was appointed as a member of Luzerne Borough Council at an adjourned meeting Saturday to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Eugene Brennan who takes his seat as a school director at the reorganization of Luzerne School Board tonight. Shortly after Saturday's meeting started Mr. Brennan resigned 88 chairman. Cornelius Boyle, veteran first ward councilman, was then elected chairman.

Only five of the eight councilmen were present. They were Frank Sobeck, Thomas F. Barry, Eugene Brennan, C. H. Ahrendts, and C.

A. Boyle. Absent were Bernard Dukinas, Stanley Evans and John Strish. Terms of Frank Sobeck, C. A.
