Rex Photo Service A record size Janesville High School senior class of 493 students was graduated in ceremonies Thursday night in the gymnasium with an estimated 3.500 members of their families, close relatives and friends attending. Kent Rockwell, president of the junior class, was master of ceremonies, while Gary Parr, president of the class of 1961, gave the welcome and read the class roll as E. J. Overton, president of the Janesville Board of Education, presented the graduates with diplomas.

The Rev. Arlin Adams, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, gave the invocation; the Rev. William Riggs, pastor of Cargill Methodist Church, gave the benediction. L.

L. Cunningham, president of the Business Institute of Milwaukee, was the speaker. Music was furnished by the JHS Orchestra, Eugene Erickson director.
