He mad his debut in 190 with the Kilties, and in succeeding years waa a featured member of th Fraxer Highlanders. GillilarU's Black Hussars and many other noted organizations. Ia 1910 Mr. Demlng cam to Indianapolis as a member of th Indianapolis military band, and when the Indianapolis orchestra was organised under th direction of the late Alexander Ernestinoff, played with that orchestra. Mr.

Demlng Is on of th Hire members of th Circle orchestra who were present on th opening night ot the Circle. His great attachment for th Circle and his distaste for traveling has forced him to refuse offers with Pryor and Sousa. Mr. Deming is a flutist of remarkable abliity, having a brilliant technic, outstanding style and perfection of phrasing that has made him a popular and well known musician. In addition to his musicianship.

Mr. Deming is also librarian of th Circle orchestra, an office In which he has perfected the cataloging ef th finest musical library In th central states. His Instantaneous index has been copied In many theaters. Last week when the Circle presented the "Moonlight Sonata."
