Ira M. Holmes and John H. Kipllnger, attorneys for the two defendants. A cash bond of $3,000 and Liberty bonds in the sum of $5,000 were accepted yesterday by Judge James A. Collins of Criminal court.

Holmes covered the felony charge, while the bond was for the arson charge. Refused Prior Bond. Judg-e Collins refused to accept a bond offered by Mr. Holmes recently signed by Mrs. Emma Averill.

Following a conference with William H. Remy, prosecuting attorney, the Averill bond was refused without the signature of the attorney, Mr. Holmes then provided the bond which was CONVENIENT TERMS FERN ROGERS.
