The lodge is located on West Beverly Drive and is led by Albert Maurath, 825-5734. The organization sponsors Mooseheart, a children's home in Illinois. Madeline Brann, 827-7875, is senior regent of the Salina Chapter 1396, Women of the Mooae, which meets on the first and third Tuesdays each month at the Moose home.

Independent Order of Odd Fellows meets every Thursday at 8 p.m. at the IOOF Lodge, 401 E. Walnut, phone 8233451. Membership is by invitation. Noble Grand is Charles Rucker.

Mrs. Bernadine Kathrineberg is president of the Miriam Rebekah Lodge 8, the women's organization which supports activities of the IOOF. Sororities Beta Sigma Phi Sorority is a social service and cultural club with the motto, "life, learning and friendship." Philanthropic projects are its goals. The City Council of Beta Sigma Phi meets on the third Wednesday each month except during December. The council consists of three members from each of the 10 local chapters.

An average of 130 members are within the 10 chapters. The chapters and current presidents are: Eta, Rita Dunlap, 827-3966; Eta Omicron, Donna Campbell, 827-4720; Gamma Alpha, Margaret KriJcy, 827-3232; Laureate Eta, Kathryn Schedd, 827-5185; Mu Theta, Marsha Loomis, 827-7380; Preceptor Beta Nu, Sue Gray, 825-0392; Preceptor Nu, Sheryl Weishar, 827-2013; XI Beta Bpdlon, Connie McMillen, 827-3135; Xi Xi, Lavene Taylor, 825-1378; and Zeta Rbo, Sara Recker, 825-0935. Epailon Sigma Alpha Sorority has three local chapters, Alpha Beta, Omicron and Zeta Lambda. Membership is by invitation only. The chapters are involved in education, fund raising projects and social events.

Omicron Chapter was the first chapter of the sorority organized in Salina. It has five members. President is Mabel Shelton, 8234539. Masonic orders Initial admission into a Masonic order is by petition. Salina Masonic Lodge 60 (Ancient Free and Accepted Masons), (Blue Lodge) meets on the first and third Mondays of each month at the Masonic Temple, 336 S.

Santa Fe, phone 825-4812. The club also has special meetings at 7 p.m. every Thursday at the Temple. Master is Arvin K. Trent.

Salina Scottish Rite has about 3,300 members. Retired Army Col. Leonard D. Acheson 827-9006, is executive secretary of all four local Scottish Rite bodies. Membership is open to Master Masons.

Scottish Rite Bodies are: Salina Lodge of Perfection, 'Salina Chapter of Rose Croix, Salina Council of Hadosh, and Salina Consistory. York Rite Bodies are open to Master Masons. Salina's two York Rite bodies are Salina Chapter 18, Royal Arch Ma- sons and Askelon Commandery 6, Knights Templar. There are approximately 250 members. Regular meetings are on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at the Masonic Temple, phone 8254445.

Frank Langshaw is high priest of the Royal Arch Masons and commander of the Knights Templar. laia Shrine Temple has a membership of about 4,900 Master Masons who are in good standing either as Knights Templar of Commandery or 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason. The office phone number is 8254206. Spencer Johnson is recorder emeritus and W. Fritz Waymaster is potentate.

Members meet the Masonic Temple. Isis also has various Uniformed Bodies. Tri-Rivers Shrine Club has about 205 members who meet monthly, usually at Carver Center. Members must be Shri- ners. President is Harvey E.

Glassburn, 827-4940. Order of the Eastern Star, Harmony Chapter 2, meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, except during July and August, at the Masonic Temple. Eunice Kohr (827-2897) is worthy matron, and her husband, Glenn Kohr, is worthy patron. Members must be Master Masons or their daughters, mothers, widows, sisters or stepchildren. There are about 600 members.

Meetings are on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month (except July and August) at the Masonic Temple. Daughters of the Nile, Magdala Temple 137, is for the wives, mothers, daughters, sisters and widows of Shri- ners. Mrs. Friedrich Meenen, Clifton, is queen. Regular meetings are on the fourth Wednesday of each month (except July and August) at the Masonic Temple.

Order of DeMolay, Salina Chapter, is sponsored by the Isis Shrine Temple and is open to boys between the ages of 13 and 21. Membership is by petition to the chapter. Advisor is Charles Tompkins, 825-5722. Regular meetings are on the first and third Wednesdays of each month (except July and August) at the Masonic Temple. Job's Daughters, Bethel 60 is open to.

Social Order of Beauceant, Salina Assembly 229, is open to wives or widows of Knights Templar. About 75 members in the organization meet twice a month at the Masonic Temple.
