The accident, which happened at Main and Front streets, caused about $50 damage to the motorcycle while Mr. Spitzmiller's ceived only a damaged fender, it was stated. Autos driven by Charles W. Lovell, 516 Edwards street, and Joseph Alson Vane, collided on highway 62, north of Medford, other reports stated. Damage to Lovcar was estimated at about $400.

Obituary ORRIN LEE DAVIS Orrin Lee Davis, well known and beloved resident of Weed, and Medford, passed away home, 17 Ross court, Saturday, Mr. Davis was born at Alden, May 12, 1875. He was a son of one of the oldest pioneer families of the Rogue River valley, and spent quite a bit of his time visiting here in the valley, after moving to Weed in 1914. Besides his wife, Mrs. Rose N.

Davis, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Effie Halley and Mrs. Grace Hosler, and one brother, Scott V. Davis, all of Medford. Funeral services will be conducted from the Perl Funeral home Thursday at 2 p.

m. with the Rev. Meredith A. Groves, pastor of the First Methodist church officiating. Interment will be in Siskiyou Memorial park.

JOHN G. SHEARIN John G. Shearin, 67, a resident of the valley for 24 years, passed away August 30 in Portland. For 18 years, Mr. Shearin operated the Plaza Garden service station and general store in the Eagle Point district.

He had resided at Phoenix since 1940. Surviving are his wife, Celia, and one son, Theodore, of Phoenix; two sisters, Mrs. Mary B. Brous of Phoenix, and Mildred S. Carter of Indianapolis; two brothers, W.

H. Shearin, Eagle Point, and Grover C. Shearin, Indianapolis. Funeral services will be conducted from the Perl Funeral home Friday at 2 p. with the Rev.
