9 UPi One of the oldest drivers in West Virginia has finally thrown In his license. "It's time to quit," said spry, 92-year-old L. M. Canterbury of Huntington. "I'm getting too old to drive." Mr.

Canterbury has been driving since 1919. His decision to quit stemmed from a minor accident involving his 1936 model car. "Someone butted into it," he explained. Mr. Canterbury bought the car new.

He said it was the first time it had been involved In an accident. The accident prompted the West Virginia Motor Vehicles Department to order another driver's test for Mr. Canterbury. Rather than be re-examined, he turned his license over to police. The car, with dents In the left side, went into the garage to stay.
