Officiating were the Rev. M. Ed-mond Hussey, the Rev.

Alfred G. Strltch, the Rev. E. James Dickey, the Rev. Paul L.

Rehllng, the Rev. Joseph Bruemmer and the Rev. William H. Hohman. The wedding reception and dinner immediately followed at the Carrousel Inn.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Raymond H. Hellmann. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs.

Glenn L. McElwee and the late Mr. McElwee. Miss Catherine Ann Hellmann was her sister's maid of honor. Other attendants were Mrs.

Raymond H. Hellmann III, Mrs. Sidney Barton, Miss Nancy Keating, Miss Marcia Rusche and Miss Ann Zoell-ner, all of Cincinnati, and Miss Francine Donnelly of Washington D. C. Best man was Mr.

James Gano of Akron, Ohio. Ushers were Mr. Steven Soule of Ocean City, Md.j and the bride's brothers, the Messrs. George John Robert and Joseph R. Hellmann and Dr.

Raymond H. Hellmann III, all of this city. Mr. and Mrs. McElwee will reside in Hyde Park.

The bride, a Xavler University graduate, attends the University of Cincinnati College of Law. Mr. McElwee, who has his master's degree from UC, is also studying in UC College of Law. McNeill-Weber THE MARRIAGE of Mrs. Orville J.

Weber of Cincinnati and Mr. Edward J. McNeill or Milford took place Saturday at St. Martin's Church in St. Martin, Ohio.

The Rev. Stanley E. Luehrmann officiated. The reception followed at Castlerae Farm, the home of Mr. McNeill at St.

Kenneth William Bean Bean-Griffith THE CHURCH of the Advent was the setting Saturday afternoon for the marriage of Miss Margaret Rhys Griffith to Mr. Kenneth William Bean. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Roger Griffith Sr.

of Cincinnati. Mr. and Mrs. Richard M. Bean of Lexington, are parents of the bridegroom.

Matron of honor was Mrs. Daniel L. Hoff-helmer of this city. The bridesmaids were Miss Amy Hauck of New York City and Miss Elissa Urvater of St. Louis.

Mr. Roger M. Bean of Ft Mitchell, was his twin brother's best man. Ushers were brothers of the couple, Mr. Richard Bean of Louisville, and Mr.

Mark Griffith and Mr. James R. Griffith both of this city. The Rev. Murray Hastings officiated at the ceremony followed by a reception at the Queen City Club.

Mr. and Mrs. Bean will reside In Clayton, Mo, on their return from a wedding trip to Williamsburg, Va. Miss Julia Kinne Kinne- Whittaker MR. AND MRS.

McKnight Kinne of Middle-town, Ohio, announce the engagement of their daughter, Julia, to Mr. David Woods Whittaker of Boston. Mr. Whittaker is the son of Mrs. James Y.

Deupree of Naples, and Cohasset, and of Mr. David A. Whittaker of Cincinnati. Miss Kinne graduated from Hillsdale School, Centenary College for Women in Hackettstown, N. and Briarcliff College.

In 1972 she completed an entre course at Katharine Gibbs School in Boston. She is the granddaughter of Mr. John K. Knoop of Troy, Ohio, and Kie late Mrs. Knoop and of the late Mr.

and Mrs. W. webald of Mld-dletown. Mr. Whittaker graduated from Deerfield Academy In Massachusetts and from Princeton University where he was a member of the Ivy Club.

He Is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. George W. Vanderhoef of Greenwich, and New York City and of the late Mr. and Mrs.

Hugh Whittaker of Cincinnati. An August wedding Is planned. School, Glen Head, Long Island, and Westover School, is attending Boston University. She was presented in 1971 at the Cotillion of the North Shore Junior League. Miss Birkins is the granddaughter of Mr.

and Mrs. John H. Curoe of Medford Lakes, N. and of the late Mr. and Mrs.

M. Edwin Birkins of Ha-worth, N. J. Mr. Swift graduated from Lake Forest Country Day School, The Hotchkiss School and will graduate from Harvard College in June.

He is a member of the A. D. Club. Mr. Swift is the grandson of Mrs.

David C. Cordray and the late Mr. Jay N. Whipple and of Mrs. T.
