The stabbing victim, Gregory Cox, was taken to the St. Elizabeth Hospita! by the Covington Life Squad where he was listed in satisfactory condition late Saturday with multiple stab wounds. Police Cruiser BB's Target A sharp-eyed sniper, using a "target special" BB gun, shot out the inside rear view mirror of a Covington police cruiser on routne patrol early Saturday, police said.

Officers in the cruiser said they "heard something ricochet inside the car." but were unable to find any damage. The two creled W. 11th St. area again and with the aid of binoculars, spotted the sniper in a third floor apartment window holding the BB gun "and walking back and fortiner officers arrived on the scene and police arrested Ted Estridge, 15 W. 11th of the thirdfloor apartment and charged him with malicious and willful shooting into a motor vehicle.
