Suilrise Service with the probability of eomc changes later In the week, the program for the State Federation luslc Clube, which Is to conyene here April 9-11, with the Music Culture club as hoflteas, has been practically completed. Headquarters will be established at the Weet Virginian hotel, and the convention will be formerly opened at 1:30 Thursday afternoon, April 9. There will be a meeting of the state board Thursday morning at 10:30. Special Intereet la centered in the music contests, which will fea- toure the cloeing day the convention.

Student contests will be held at 9 Saturday morning, as follows: Claaaea A and ball room. West Virginian hotel; classee and Miss Watts' studio; and violin and string ensemble, at the Elks' partor. At 12:30, there will be a contest for marching bands, with a gold medal to the winner. Monetary prizes are offered In the etu- denta' contests. At 1 o'clock the young artists contest will be held in the West Virginian ball room, and at 2 o'clock there will be contests for orchcetras, hands and glee I I at Rameey school auditorium.

Winners In the young arliets' contest will compete in district and national contests, with a wpecial course in music' as the Mlesee Marlon Smith and Fiances Keese are among local artists entered In this contest. Quota Club Party Bluefleld Quota club will have its annual dance and card party, Friday evening, April 17, at the West Virginian hotel. Mrs. Nettie Vass- Steele heads tho committee on arrangements. Witt. Bluefield Woman's Club Bluefleld Woman's club will meet at 2:30 Monday afterneon at the quarters. Wesleyan Mothers' Club With twelve In attendance, the Wesleyan Mothers' club held its monthly meeting at the home of Mrs. Fred Phelps, presidtp.t. Friday evening.

Mrs. Phelps presided for the meeting, and Mrs. N. P. Wickham conducted tho devotional, which consisted ot scripture reading, and beautiful prayer in behalf ot the Wesleyan boys.

This was'followed with general discussion pertaining to the welfare of the organization. The club has decided upon a financial plan to raise funds for the treasury. Ralph Millar, coach of the Wesleyan class, made a brief talk. In Jlrs. Earl Crotty's circle.

No. 2, Grace Methodist church, met with Mrs. Ed Shott, Highland avenue, Wednesday afternoon. Airs. M.

H. Bowling being hostess. Seventeen members and one visitor, Mrs. H. R.

Hunter, were present. The meeting opened with devotional on the lesson theme, "Stewardship," by Mrs. C. W. Ferre'll.

This was followed with ten-minute prayer service for the revival in progress at Grace church. The bible study was ably given by Mrs. E. R. Wilson, and an interesting Item in the Voice, was presented by Mrs.

Keith Grover. General business was then discussed, and the meeting closed with the Lord's prayer in unison. The next meeting will be witli Mva. Joseph F. Shelton.

A pleasant social hour followed the session, the hostess serving a lovely plate. Present were Mrs. E. B. Boggs, Mrs.
