Elmer Baute Elmer Bernard Baute, 86, of Boone County and formerly of Kenton County, died Feb.

23. He was owner and operator of Choco-Ridge Equestrian Center in Union and was an accomplished and beloved route salesman for Husman nack Foods. He was a teammate on Beechwood High first football team, a Boone County 4-H leader, and was a member of the Northern Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame. His passion was baseball. He attended First Church of Christ, where he was active in the Joy Club.

His wife, Nancy Oelsner Baute; and siblings Larry Baute, velyn Baute Lorenz, and Paul aute, died previously. Survivors include his children Greg Baute of Erlanger, Shelley Gaffney of Versailles, Doug Baute of Grand Junction, Colorado, Brad Baute of Verona, and Julie Hunley of Walton; sisters Mary Ann Mueller and Kathleen Finley, both of Fort Mitchell; and 14 grandchildren along with 18 great grandchildren and nine great-great- grandchildren. Burial was at St. Mary Cemetery in Fort Mitchell. Carol Bond Carol Bond, 80, of Fort Wright, died Feb. 27 at Wood- rest Nursing Home. Survivors include her brothers Jack, Dennis, and Terry Bush. Vincent Cahill Sr. Vincent Joseph Cahill 82, of Fort Mitchell, died March 3 at his home.

He was owner and operator for 45 years of Beverage Station in Fort Mitchell, a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, and a charter member of Beechwood Swim Club. He enjoyed golfing and gardening. His granddaughter, Julia, died previously. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Wachs Cahill; daugh- ers Nancy Lehkamp and Carol Oehrle; son, Vincent Joseph Cahill sister, Delores Hellman; brother, Raymond Cahill; and seven grandchildren along with a great-grand- aughter. Interment was at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill.

Coleman, 91, of Kenton Vale, died March 4 at er home. She was a member of Lakeside Christian Church in Lakeside Park, Railway Business Association, N.A.R.V.E., and Morgan Township Historical Society.

She was aKentucky Colonel, served as council person with the City of Kenton Vale, and was involved in starting the Latonia Youth Club. She retired from after 42 years of service as a stenographer and clerk. Her husband, Stanley Coleman; sister, Helen Muller Marksberry; and brother, Robert C. Teetor, died previously. urvivors include her daughter, Elaine Coleman; sons Steven Coleman and Stanley C.

Coleman; sister, Marjorie Fugate; and three grandchildren. Interment was at Mother of God Cemetery in Fort Wright. Memorials: Be Concerned, 714 Washington Covington, KY 41011. Jed Deters Jed K. Deters, 54, of Walton, died March 2 at his home.

He was a self-employed attorney at Deters Law Firm and was attorney for the City of Independence. He was a member of St. Cecilia Church in Independence and volunteered a H.O.N.K., (Housing Opportunities of Northern Kentucky), the Northern Kentucky Bar Association, Kentucky State Bar Association, and was former chairman of the Real Estate Appraiser Board. He served on the board of directors of Farmers National Bank and was a former volunteer with Independence Fire Department. He was a 1978 graduate of Simon enton High School and gradu- a te of Thomas More College and Chase College of Law.

He was a member and supporter of the N.R.A. His hobbies included woodworking, restoring old tractors and automobiles, hunting, fishing, and tree farming. He was a connoisseur of Western films. Survivors include his wife, Sherry Deters; daughter, Samantha Deters; son, Lucien Deters; parents, Charles and Mary Sue Deters; sisters Amy Bach, Suzanne Osterhage, Sara Tepe, and Celia Deters; brothers Thad Deters, Eric Deters, Seth Deters, Richard Deters, Nathan Deters, and Jeremy Deters. Cecilia Building Fund, 5313 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. Ralph Honican Ralph Glenn Honican, 87, of I ndependence, died Feb. 26. He was a retired factory worker with General Electric and member of Banklick Christian Church. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, camping, and travel.

His first wife, Blanche Honican; son, Chris Honican; sisters Hazel Thomas and Gladys Lenox; brothers Arthur, Stanley, Eugene, Kenneth, and Everett Honican, died previously. Survivors include his wife, Rose Honican; daughter, Penny Honican Shell of Crittenden; brother, Kerman Honican of Mount Olivet, Kentucky; and two grandchildren along with two great-grandchildren. I nterment was at Kentontown Cemetery in Kentontown, Kentucky. Memorials: American Cancer Society, 297 Buttermilk Pike, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017; or Feed he Children, 333 N. Marvin Hutchinson Marvin Clair Hutchinson, 88, of Erlanger, died Feb. 23 at illaspring of Erlanger. He was a U.S. Army veteran, aving served in World War II. His wife, Helen Hutchinson; and sons Scot and Neal Hutchins on, died previously.

Survivors include a grandson. William Marcum William Odell Marcum, 71, of Erlanger, died March 3. He was a retired auto mechanic and member of Mission Church of God in Florence. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Marcum; daughter, Debbie Marcum; sister, Renie Wesselman; brother, Arthur Marcum; and a grandchild along with a great-grandchild. Burial was at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell.

Juanita Mullins Juanita Parr Mullins, 86, of Independence, died Feb. 26 at her home. he was a homemaker, member and Eucharistic minister at t. Matthews Church, member of Kenton Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, and volunteer for the American Heart Association. She loved doing yard work, traveling across the country, and baking.

Her brother, Bernie Parr, died reviously. urvivors include her husband, Hugh Mullins; daughters Diane Cook and Debbie Mullins; and two grandchildren along with six great-grandchildren. Owen, 87, of Edgewood, died Feb. 25 at his home. He retired after 21years of service as an Indiana State Trooper and then joined St. Elizabeth Medical Center as director of security, retiring after 16 years of employment. He was a member of Masonic raternity Lodge 677 in Gary, Indiana and the Scottish Rite reemasons in South Bend, Indiana.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Owen; son, Kevin Owen of Edgewood; daughter, Kristina Owen Riddell of Ponder, Texas; and sister, Sally Owen Gibson of Oviedo, Florida. urial was at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown. Elizabeth Healthcare Hospice, 483 S. Loop Road, Edgewood KY 41017; or t. Elizabeth Foundation, 1 Medical Village Drive, Edgewood KY 41017. Janis Schulten Janis Gail Bell Schulten, 83, originally from Falmouth and longtime resident of Taylor Mill, died Feb. 28 after a brief illness.

She was owner and operator of Hair Styling for more than 50 years and was an accomplished quilter and painter. She was a former member of Sunny Acres United Methodist Church in Taylor Mill and was currently a member at Community Family Church in I ndependence. Her husband, Robert Schulten died previously. Burial was at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill. Mary Warken Mary Jean Warken, 89, of Kenton County, died Feb.

24 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Florence. Her husband, George Warken; son, Douglas Warken; and brothers Tommy, James, and Donald Amann, died previously. Survivors include her sons Dennis Warken of Florence, Kevin Warken of Independence, and Barry Warken of aurel, Maryland; daughter, Rebecca of Ludlow; brother, David Amann of Florence; and one grandchild along with a great-granddaughter. She donated her body to science.

25. He retired in 1987 after working at Ford Motor Co. for 35 years. He was Christian and had been a deacon and Sunday school teacher at Oak Ridge Baptist Church. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening.
