Navlct to Offer Timely Hints During His Weekly Talk Wednesday Much of expense and disappointment may be avoided by the gardener who: will listen in to next Wednesday's program of Tirneiy Garden Tips, 12:45 to 1 p. on KLX. The subject, "Dormant Spraying," is timely, for December 15 normally marks the beginning of the dormant spraying period.

Arthur Navlet will tell his listeners just what to spray and what plants, trees and bushes to spray in December. For instance, the unsightly curled-leaf condition of peach trees may easily be avoided by two applications of spray material, the first about December 15. The red berry disease of the bush berries, mildew on roses, may all be reduced by dormant spraying. The series of Timely Garden Tips programs come to the dialers each Wednesday through courtesy of the Charles C. Navlet Company, florists, sccdmen and nurserymen of San Jose, San Francisco and Oakland.
