Smith of 8t Luke's Reformed Church, died last night after a short illness at the home of her son, 14 Eaet Hoilenback Avenue.

Mrs. Smith was born in Lockport December 29. 1841. With Rev. Mr.

Smith, who accepted the pastorate of St. Luke's Church, she came to WUkes-Barre little more than a month ago from Akron, Ohio, where she bad large acquaint-ance. Besides her eon. Mrs. Smith is survived by several grandchildren.

Judge, World War veteran aad lifelong Pittston resident, died yesterday morning at 10 at the home of bis nephew, Earl Tlschler, 61 Butler Avenue, Pittston.

Mr. Judge bad been Ul sine Christ-mas but family members were unaware of the seriousness of bis condition and death was unexpected. The remains have been taken by Funeral Director Stanley M. Leonard to the home of his sister, Mrs. William Tlschler, 19 Prospect Street Pittston, from where the funeral will be held Saturday morning at 9:45 with military honors.

Deceased was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Judge, early residents of the Parsonage Street section of Pittston, and practically bis entire life was spent in that community. At the outbreak of the World War, Mr. Judge enlisted In the U.

S. Navy and served for the duration of the war. He was a member of Fort Pittston post, Veterans of Foreign Wars and John Stark post, American Legion. He also was a member of St John's Church. Surviving are the following callers and sisters: Mrs.

Patrick Preston, Wilkes-Barre; Mrs. Thomas Slmonaon, West Pittston. Health Officer Dies In Physician's Office Stanley Glbbletts, well known Exeter resident, was stricken Tuesday night at 9 at the office of Dr. Eugene M. Kelley, Wyoming Avenue, and died in a few minutes.

Dr. Kelley said death had resulted from a heart attack. The remains have been taken to the family home, 301 Grant Street, Exeter, from where the funeral will be held Saturday morning at 9. A requiem mass will be celebrated at St. Casimlr's Church at 9:30 and burial will be- in the parish cemetery.

Deceased had resided In Exeter for 40 years and was one of the borough's well known residents. For many years he was borough health officer. He was a member of St Casimlr's Lithuanian Church, the Holy Name Society and St. Vincent de Paul Society. Surviving are his wife, Anna, two sons, Stanley and George; five daughters, Mrs.

Peter Kasalanis, Nellie, Anna, Marie and George and three grandchildren. Philip Crawford, 31, Pneumonia Victim Taken 111 several days ago while returning from work Philip Crawford, 31, of 29 Monroe Street, city, died yesterday afternoon at 2:30 at his home of pneumonia. MRS. JENNIE FOMEO Mrs. Jennie Pomeo of Old Forge, later of Mrs. Frank Parlse of Parsons, died on Tuesday in Hahnemann Hospital, Scranton. She was the former Miss Jennie Baeta.

ANNA WASHBURN Mrs. Anna Washburn; 71, of New York City and a resident of Askam for many years, died Tuesday at the home of her Lee Washburn, Bethlehem, following a heart attack. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marlon Hess of New York, and two sons Lee of Bethlehem and Harry of Truesdale Terrace. She also leaves one grandchild and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be hld Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at Askam Methodist Episcopal Church, Rev. B. R. Hanton officiating. Interment in Edgehlll Cemetery.

MICHAEL MERGO Michael Mergo, 427 Falrview Street, Plymouth, died last night at 6 after an Illness of -pneumonia He was a World War veteran and a member of SS. Peter and Paul's Greek Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife Julia and two children, Dennis and William; mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. John Klesa and these brothers and sisters: Mrs.

Catherine Tarasazick, Mrs. Anna Spock, Stephen, Mrs. Julia Pokrinchak, John, Ella, Nicholas and Mrs. Mary Rud-nicki, all of Plymouth. A stepsister, Helen Klesa, also survives.

MRS. BERTHA M. TRAVER Mrs. Bertha M. Traver, 54, died at her home at Evans Falls, Wyoming County, on Tuesday night.

Mrs. Traver was a native of Beaumont and before marriage was Miss Bertha Morgan. She leaves her husband, Frank, two children, Mrs. Earl Crlspell and Mildred at home, and two grandchildren, Earl and Elvin Crlspell. She also leaves one brother.

Harry Morgan of Norrls-town and following sisters, Mrs. Roland Collins. Mrs. Oscar Williams and Gertrude Morgan of Akron, and Mrs. Harry Wall 'of Beaumont JULIA WONDOLOWSKI Mrs.

Julia Wondolowski, 39, whose husband, Benjamin, was killed In Stanton Colliery six years ago, died yesterday morning at Mercy Hospital where ahe was admitted No, vember 23 for an operation.
