It was recently purchased by two gentlemen who are brothers-in-law. What is America all about? One of the things is that each citizen can be whatever he or she can be.

Through hard work and perseverence in every one of us has the chance to realize our dreams, to be a success in whatever we endeavor. This is true of Hratch Djanba-tian and Armand Mesrobian, the new owners of Chunkie Grinder Time. Both of these gentlemen immigrated to the U.S. while young children. Their parents were not rich, and worked hard for what they got.

Mr. Djanbatian's family as over 20 years' experience in the restaurant business. Mr. was a manager of a savings and loan and is the business manager. While working at the two Chunkie Grinders, Chino and Fontana, he attends law school, as well.

Mr. Mesrobian's family came frqrn Romania. He spent 1 1 years managing the large "hot meals catering trucks. He watches over the food and service part of the business. The two new owners stress that the family deli style -restaurant is to serve the community.

They continue to offer 20 discounts on all items to senior citizens and will expand the discount to fire and police personnel. Mr. Mesrobian says he plans to expand Chunkie Grinder's Chino location's menu to match that of the; Fontana facility. He will also expand the selection of breakfast sandwiches. Over the Jhext year or so they hope to com-pletely remodel the restaurant, in tune with Pavillions, sfehunkie Grinder offers many deli-style sandwiches, most of which are served hot.

Grinder selections run from beef to Italian sausage and meatball, salami, pastrami and white "turkey. Spaghetti with meat sauce, meatball, sausage andor mushrooms are also served. Kellogg in 1926, the monthly horse shows are one of Southern California's oldest and most popular family entertainment The shows feature descendents from the oldest purebred Arabian horse breeding program in the United States. Performing at liberty and under English and western tack, the purebreds demonstrate qualities as a three-gaited horse, jumper and trail horse, pleasure horse and driving with surrey. Many of the riders appear in native Arabian costumes. The handling and training of the horses is exclusively by Cal Poly students and staff. Following the program, visitors are welcome to walk around the courtyard and stable area and enjoy a close look at the horses.

Cal Poly Pomona is located at the junction of the 1-10, 210 and 57 freeways. Special signs on caihpus direct visitors to free parking adjacent to the Arabian Horse Center and covered grandstand.
