Plans for the yearly outing were discuss! at a recent meeting of auxiliary to Post 655, Larksvllle American Legion. Group voted to send two Larksville school students to. camp at Indian Town Gap for 10 days. Entertainment was given by Mrs. Agnes Kelly, Mr Stephen Gimble, Clara Kllnko, Mrs.

John Smith, Mildred Sllmock and Mrs. John Kielty. Plans for the yearly dinner were made at a meeting of Larksvllle Alumni Association last night in the high school auditorium. Ashley May Day Celebration To Be Open to Public School officials have announced that the May Day celebration to be held Thursday afternoon on Athletic Field on Cemetery Street will be open to the public with no admission charges. The program will begin promptly at 1:30 with a concert bv the Federal Orchestra directed by Joseph Marone.

Corona tion of the May queen ano neia drills and exercises by the public school children will start at 2:10. Superintendent Robert C. Metz stated vesterdav that the afternoon classes in the schools will be dls-mised at 1:45 and that the queen's float, high school band and parade of queen's attendants will leave from No. 2 school, South Main Street, at 2, moving over Main Street to Ashley Street to the Athletic Field on Cemetery Street. William Maglnsky, director of physical education, has charge of the program and is being assisted by the principals and teachers of the sohools.

Miss Audrey Jackson, a senior, has been chosen May queen, and Arthur Dawe, supervisor of music, will have charge of the high school band and the musical program. AFFAIRS TONIGHT Busy Bee QuiltingClub will meet tonight instead of Thursday at the home of Mrs. George Hannis, Oak Lane. Blue Ridge Charter 40, Order of Eastern Star, will have a card party in Eddy's Hall, North Main Street, tonight Mrs. Bertha Jones is chairman and Mrs.

Edwardsville Program for Parents To Be Given Tonight A program designed specifically for parents has been arranged by Miss Jule Ruddy, art superviser, and Miss Nan Lee Thomas and Stephen Hutnick of the high school faculty for presentation tonight as part of the Parents' Night exer cises. High school orchestra, directed by Prof. H. V. Harrison, will furnish music for the following program: reflections in a mirror, Martha Davis and Elizabeth Davis, twin sisters; song, Rose McGroarty; Bell Boy Troupe, pupils of Hilda Mann Hertz; sketch, "Baby Snooks and Her Dad," Basil Lynch and Hannah Lewis.

Woman Stricken Dl Identified by Police An aged woman who was stricken with a cerebral hemorrhage while on her way home late Monday night on East Grand Street, near Prospect and Walnut, was identified at Nantlcoke State Hospital by Chief of Police Robert Davis and Captain John Sinereski ae being Mrs. Anna Zuroff, 72, of 251 East Grand Street. Passersby noticed the woman slumped on the street and called police. Lieutenant Edwin Morgan and Patrolman Joseph Magnosi removed her to the hospital, where she remained unidentified until yesterday morning.
