A leisurely aerial jaunt across country, combining business and pleasure, is to be taken. by the Lindberghs, who have chosen Oak-1 land airport as their ultimate destination, according to an announcetent made le today at Valley Stream, N. by officials of the Transcontinental Air Transport-Maddux air lines.

Colonel Lindbergh 1s technical adviser for the company. The Lindberghs ordered their plane prepared to take off at Valley Stream today, They expect to spend the rest of the week stopping between Valley Stream and Columbus. Ohio. on personal business. Next week they plan to proceed to the Pacific coast, where they will make an aerial survey and stop at important points.

Eventually, according to the eastern announcement, the flight will come to a temporary close at Oakland airport, where a new Heed low-wing monoplane will be Colonel Lindbergh. Joab Mulvane, 92, wealthy Topeka banker and philanthropist and father of David W. Mulvane, Republican national committeeman for Kansas, died yesterday in Los Angeles.
